Just read a five page article previewing GTA Online in the latest Game Informer which arrived at my house today. This is going to be so epic.
From simple store robberies to heists, there is going to be so much to do. The character creator sounds really interesting.
One little thing I thought was cool was that once you do a robbery and get away form the cops and all, you have a certain amount of cash on you, but if another player kills you he can take all that cash, so the first thing you need to do is get to an ATM so you can deposit the money in your account and it is then safe from any other criminals. You can spend it freely upgrading weapons and buying clothes like you are using a debit card.
And if you want to play around in the online game world, shop or play traditional games or just drive around and not get murdered you can enter into a passive mode which makes you immune to injury, but once you attempt to shoot someone the passive mode is turned off and you are vulnerable again.
There were a lot of other little bits in there that have me really excited for this game online.

That happened to me when I tried to connect my sons XBL account last week. It likely did o through it's just not showing it. Check back later today or tomorrow and it will probably be linked or just try it again.
Their site along with their mobile app and the in game photos have been having a lot of problems, I think due to the massive number of people playting the game. This is probably why they waited a couple weeks to launch GTA Live, to sort this shit out.
