Good riddance. Worst transfer in Juve history. We payed 90m euros to see him like this. This is all he is remembered for

Worst in our history??? wtf...understanding he costed a bom...he did have a good first season. Price aside...there have been many others worse than him.

Enjoy miami...if you have money it is a very fun city to live in.

You cant put price aside when it comes to rating transfers though and Higgy was a spectacular failure all things considered. we ended up splashing ~72m in transfer fee + ~50m in wages for one great season, one Matri level season and one washed up Matri level season.

And they fuckin won 4 CLs with Bale!
Was instrumental in only one of them, came on as a sub and scored a wonder goal in the other final. But that doesn't discount the fact that he was largely a non-factor in most of their CL wins. Madrid won despite Bale.
He probably won't be among the worst 'galactico's' they have signed but his career at Madrid was largely underwhelming sprinkled with some amazing moments here and there.

Scored the winning goals in 2014 and 2018 finals, and converted one of the PKs in 2016 ffs.

Higuain scored crucial goals as well. That doesn't discount the fact that he was a bad return on investment.

Real Madrid have a winning tradition in Europe just like how we have a winning tradition in Italy.

Bale is being paid €17M net just so he can play golf ffs.

In their original Perez Galacticos era they actually won very little, but one was a CL so it kind of glossed over a lot. It was more a vanity show in the same way you see now with many foreign owners.

Berlusconi's Milan were probably the best example of finding a balance between big signings, glamour and success on the field, and even then it was predominantly in European competition.

Saw Benzema on 2017/2018, he scored very little back then and even less than Higuain and assisted less. He also scored not much goals in 2016/2017 season.

Benz also has some of out field issue : Valbuena, Drug and Money laundering issue back then, but he came back strong this 2019/2020 season as Madrid main man.

I still think we should be able to use Higuain this season if other option are Suarez, Cavani or paying Dzeko 10m transfer fee. Benz quality that is required to click when he played alongside Ronaldo is his link up play and a CF who can bring the ball forward. So far Higuain can do that.

People would argue Higuain wasnt good this past 2 season but the point is :
2018/2019 he changed teams 2 times with Milan and Chelsea
2019/2020 He quite instrumental for is in first half of the season scored against Napoli, Inter, Atalanta. Also in Champions League while being a 2nd option to rotate after Ronaldo-Dybala. He is worse after post covid break, but also almost all of our players except De Ligt, Ronaldo, Rabiot

His second season was still pretty good. (way better than anything Matri did with Juve).
But yeah, a failed transfer overall.
