If selling Higuain means we bring in SMS + Martial, then I'm all for it. Higuain being sacrificed just for SMS isn't quite sufficient in my book.

What do you think about SMS and Morata on loan with option/obligation? I feel this might be more doable than Martial for upfront money

I like Morata, but I'd rather Martial. Also, I don't think United have much leverage when it comes to negotiating for Martial as his contract is expiring next season I believe. We can offer them a 15 million loan + obligation to buy for 35 or 40 million. His ceiling and potential is higher than Morata's. We can even sweeten the deal by assisting them in offloading that Bidone Dumpian.

I think the leveragr comes more from other PL teams being a possible destination for him whe I dont see Morata getting to much attention. Maybe Im wrong but it seems a few team are in for Martial but not Morata

Spurs, Arsenal, and the like don't carry the same promise of trophies and challenging for titles tho. If Bayern are interested tho, then we might be in some trouble

I agree that we are the best team in the race but there are some things that are in their benefit like same country,language,competitive league, etc. In the end I think you are right and Martial might want us but I dont think he would cause a bunch of trouble going to Chelsea or Spurs if they offer a non loan and man utd tell him they couldnt do a loan. Either way we agree that Martial is probably the better player but IMO Morata might be easier to wrap up.

Lots of Higuain sale talks in Italian media today. Speculation is fueled further with Sarri potentially going to Chelsea.

Which in case , swapping Higuain for Morata would be a terrible idea IMO. I dont mind having Morata back but it'd suck if we replace Higuain with him.
