Juventus are reportedly ready to accept offers of €50m for striker Gonzalo Higuain this summer.

According to Sport Mediaset, Juve must sell before they can buy 'several top players’ and have decided to sacrifice Higuain, as opposed to Paulo Dybala.

The Bianconeri signed the Argentine for a club-record €90m from Napoli two years ago, in the hope he could fire them to European glory.

However, despite scoring 55 goals in two seasons with the Bianconeri, he failed to make an impact against Real Madrid in both the Champions League Final last season and the recent quarter-final.

Furthermore, his age could count against him, with the forward turning 31 at the end of the year.

As for where he could go, the broadcaster believes Paris Saint-Germain could bring him to replace Edinson Cavani, Financial Fair Play permitting, as well as whether the Uruguayan joins Atletico Madrid.

The Premier League could also come calling – and possibly a swap deal with Chelsea as Alvaro Morata has been linked with a return to Juve.

Morata will not replace the number of goals Higuain scores

I like Morata don't get me wrong, but he is not a 20 goal a season striker, unless we're buying someone like Suarez or Griezmann this summer, selling Higuain would be absolutely retarded.

Can't we keep both?
Why is everyone pushing the sale of Higuain so much?
His goals have been so decisive this year both in the CL and Scudetto race

We must sell quickly before he gains 15kg in the summer and spends half a year getting in shape. But seriosly its probably better to keep him, bc nobody is gonna pay 50+m for him.

Yes, the idea of selling Higuain is totally retarded. I wouldn't even consider offers below 70mln. He's still among top 5 strikers in the game.

Of course we can. And I'd prefer to. He's happy here and I really believe he can further improve.
But if I had to chose between Dybala and Higuain, my decision is clear.

In my opinion we need to focus on rejuvenating our defence end strengthen our midfield.

I really like the fatman as a striker, but if sacrifices has to be made... we need to look forward and put our eggs on the dybala basket. We dont have much choice to be honest, because Higuain is 31. and dybala is like 6 younger plus more skilled.

Obvs is not good to lose our main goalscorer, but dybala can do that too if we support him properly. The Milan game is proof of what dybala can do when he is into the game. Back him up with proper midfielders and better Wingers and see how it goes. Its worth a try, as dybala is a very marketable assed from a financial POV, and also is a skilled player.

Business.
