$#@! the resale value dropping. I only care about what he does on the pitch. Unless you are willing to find a like for like replacement if not better I couldn't give a $#@! about his sell on value dropping and neither should we as fans
Its all about dybala man. You dont understand.

You are seeing the issue just from the Higuain´s POV.
And you dont care about the resale value but the board does, because he costed us a lot of money and is not the same case with the resale value of lets say, Mandzukic,, which will not benefit us as much.

Also, we borught him to win the CL and sadly we failed. Time to try something new and for that we maybe will need the money from him to buy new players and to accomodate dybala.

We will not need Higuain to win serie A anymore, as we will be stronger next year most likely, and not as dependant on forwards bailing us game in game out.

Thats all theres to it.

Spending 30 mill on Bonaventura whilst we are thinking of selling higuain or dybala has to be the most disgusting thing this management could do
In this i agree and i hope the Bonaventura rumour was just that, a rumour. Bonaventura is not bad, but is not what we need to fill space.

Explain to me why we need to sell Higuain in order to keep Dybala? So that we have enough money to bring back an inferior striker like Morata? We can certainly afford Martial without having to sell Higuain.

I am of the belief that it will be harder to replace higuain, but would only sell dybala if it finances a proper cm, martial and a RB
55 goals in 2 seasons and people are ready to just get rid of one of the top 10 strikers in the world just so we can fund a move for Morata who was benched by Mandzukic in his last season here and has struggled at Chelsea. Not to mention half of these people are posting lineups with Dybala as the central striker even though Allegri has already said that he won't play him there. This isn't Football Manager. The only reason to sell Higuain would be to make room for an elite forward like Suarez or Griezmann.

because Dybala and Higuain dont match in our formation. DYbala is our starman yet we cant find a proper place to him, because unlucky for us, he seems to be better the closest he is to the goal or being the reference point. With Higuain in the middle, its difficult to put him in that position, so he needs to move a lot, and the farther from goal, the less he can do his wuick plays and fast shooting.

The point of selling Pipa has nothing to do with mandz or Morata, but with Dybala. Is not about football manager, is about tyring to keep dybala and using him where he is better. Suarez of Griesmann are not coming unless we sell dybala so no.

You see, i also think that selling our main goalscorer is a risky move, but we need to base our mercato around the player that can give us more in the long term, and thats dybala, not higuain.

What makes you think that Allegri will play Dybala as the striker in the 4-3-3? There has been nothing to indicate that this will happen.

Look Higuain and Dybala stays! if the club want to spunk 30 mill on shit like perin and bonaventura and leave themselves short in areas that require urgent attention i.e. midfield and fullbacks then reaching the final of the CL will be about our ceiling

I always want a proper #9 in the team, at all times. So if we can't get Morata and Martial I don't want to sell Higuain, since Mandzo will be out next season for sure.

As for Dybala, I'm open to his sale only if we invest heavily into the squad, I would expect a TOP CM and TOP RB. I don't want no half assed investments. I'm not too worried about losing the creativity Dybala brings as I expect BernaGuti to turn out big for us, and would expect Costa to play an even bigger role next season. If we can keep him and invest in the squad heavily that'd be perfect, but we don't roll like that.

The weirdest thing that has happened to Juve fans is that they think reaching the CL final is very ordinary. A team that reaches the CL final CAN win it. If they don't, it's not because they don't have 11 world class players or haven't splashed money on hot and trendy players. If that was the necessary condition for winning the CL, that would be the necessary condition for reaching the CL final.

Morata is a rotation player at best and Martial has played most of his football on the left wing. Neither of them are guarantees in the #9 position like Higuain is.

Higgy is already declining.

It might be a smart move to cash in and recoup at least 50M out of the 90 paid for him.
Is he though? He hasn't scored as much this season but his workrate and overall linkup play has improved imo.

Another weird thing about Juve fans is that some think Morata is better than Higuain. Even comparing the two is nonsensical and an insult to Pipita.

It's not necessarily about signing the 'trendy players' but we lack that edge in quality, players who have the experience reaching the latter stages if not winning it, signing the bonaventura's in this world at the expense of selling our assets just to renew the hunger of this team domestically just doesn't cut it on the big stage

It's like they just remember that amazing run he had on our way to the 2015 CL final and haven't bothered to watch him play since then. He's failed to nail down a starting spot at every club he's ever been at and Chelsea are prepared to give up on him after just one season. Higuain is on a completely different planet to Morata.

Martial can play centrally, and has played there for Man U. Morata has been excellent in the CL, but can't be relied on in the league, he can be a 20 goal/season player but as long as those 20 goals are big goals I'm happy, we would also have many other offensive outlets in Dybala Costa and BernaGuti or even Martial if he comes too.

Having Morata, Martial, Dybala, Costa, Pjacca and BernaGuti allows a lot of options and flexibility, but we'd have to rely quite heavily on Morata to lead the line effectively, or Dybala to evolve to play in that role.

Or we could just keep Higuain, not get Morata, and have all of those options but with a much better #9.

If we sell him i bet we will lose the league next season. Im against it as he is our best player by far, but if Allegro doesnt believe we can succeed in Europe with Pipita then we should do it.
