I don't think we will get enough money for Higuaín. Even so, just buy a 'better player,' and keep him in the squad. He clearly has enough quality to play for Juve.
id rather sell, 55M and id accept without thinking twice. build the team around Dybala, him C-Dogg and Morata/Martial in a trident, behind a functional midfield. i realize it probably wont happen tho

If we have a functional team behind him and create chances he will score. He has continually proved that in his career, just need to have some faith.

He has been playing the season with; no decent distribution from the back (after Bonucci gone), no attacking threat from RB/LB (after Dani Alves gone and Alex Sandro's loss of form), no creativity from midfield (Pjanic being our only creative player and playing too deep, the other midfielders being Matuidi and Khedira), our attacking mids being inconsistent (Costa has found form when the team has lost it), defensive tactics.

That was the case last year. This year he has experienced a noticeable decline. He dribbles into defenders constantly, still trying to make moves he was once able to make.

Not to mention we have more pressing needs and it would be almost impossible to bring proven quality in his position

Given the service, this guy will deliver.

Just focus on strengthening the midfield with more creativity, and bring in more attacking-minded fullbacks, and Gonzalo will keep on scoring.

Another addition I think we need for the midfield is a raw beast tank of a midfielder, one we haven't had since Vidal. SMS would be perfect (though I know it's a pipe dream)

Last year we had a far more functional team, just about all of the points I listed weren't an issue.

He dribbles into defenders because he is often isolated because we aren't getting players forward enough to give options or create space around him.

He gets a lot of balls around the box and he has clearly lost the ability to take a first touch and shoot like he did at Napoli. He takes the first touch and the 2nd straight into the CBs.

If we need a full team around the striker so he can poach then just sign Balotelli on a free. We need more from Higuain. I am not even going to bring up the open net he missed on a great pass from Alex Sandro. You can't miss that if you are bought for 94M. You are doing nothing above any other striker in that case if you are missing those chances.

At Napoli he has Callejon and Insigne/Mertens making runs all over the place around him that either gave him an option to pass or more importantly dragged defenders away to create space to allow him to get a shot away or get away with a bad touch. Too often he is isolated and has two defenders on him, when you have less space and time you are going to lose the ball more.

The miss wasn't great but to be fair to him it was a tight angle and he made a superb run to get the ball (one he made a few times today without being picked out - which goes back to my initial points re. functional team). Strikers miss chances, look at Ronaldo, that guy misses constantly. What makes a good one is to keep getting in the positions, which Higuain often does.
