Sorry, 90m cant be justified with good movement alone. He had a chance in each game, both of them shouldve been buried.

If we win the next 3 games by Higuain drawing players out of position and Dybala scoring each game 1 goal because of that, and we go 0-1 , 1-0 , 1-0 to CL victory, i'd say it was succesfull.


Opponents spend considerable resources to make sure Higuain isnt getting into his good positions where a goal is near certain. But by doing that, they sacrifice so much, that other talented lad is abusing it.



Watch when opponents start picking up Dybala and respond less to Higuain. Suddenly he'll return to scoring.

I could care less too. I would find it pretty damn amusing if we we manage to win the CL with Higgy choking chance after chance... After we win it that is. Watching us win three straight 1-0 with Higgy missing chance after chance would be pretty much terrifying.

The current tactic is working cuz its a unit and higuain plays a vital role in it. Higuain needs to score when presented with opportunities no doubting that but seeing how defenses focus on him more than others and dybala and co benefitting from this is clear as day. Once higuain starts scoring fir fun expect others to be less active on the score sheet.

I'm not saying his movement isn't good. It's superb. What you're failing to adress is the fact that he tanked two clear cut chances in a knockout game. No amount of good movement or team-helping changes this. When he is brought in for 90m EU, I expect him to sink atleast one of those chances. Mind you, they were chances that we would trashing Matri for missing, let alone Piggy.

I know what you mean. But for me his teamcontribution has been outstanding, and his goals have been a massive boost in the league.
Yeah, id like to see him be more clinical in europe.

How dare people to criticize a €90m player for choking in CL matches

Nice if he breaks the record, but we don't need Higuain to win Serie-A, we would win it with or without him.
We didn't buy him to put 3 past the Crotone's and Genua's, we bought him to improve our chance to win the CL, where he is choking, like he always does. So excuse me for thinking good movement alone isn't worth the money.
