By far my favourite Higuain game in our shirt in terms of general play. Couldn't believe what I was seeing, the ease with he received passes with back to the goal and made stunning turns, flicks, passes, runs. Was so fun to watch, does not need to score to impress us.

Allegri put it best: “I want to single out Gonzalo Higuain tonight, as he played a technically perfect game and made a big contribution to the team.”

Joking aside, he did play a great game. That almost assist to Marchisio was beautiful and he often dropped back to receive the ball and pass and help bring it forward. When you win 4-0 and your CF doesent score, but instead is one of the most involved in build up play says it all.

He was, very good use of the ball and won most of the balls into him with his back to goal. What I usually expect of him and why I was irritated about that Barcelona first half.

No, he doesn't. But I think he was poor in general play at Barcelona too. And this latest performance just makes me wonder if maybe deep down he really is a choker.

People rarely mention but he's got that pirloesque quality on the ball, only stronger, that he can hold on to the ball midfield and bring teammates into play. Dude has skill.

;)

But its true

If we go by goals alone, yeah, Higuain is lacking in the CL. However if we see how massive he was against Barcelona and how him drawing players out of position created the space in which Dybala bagged a brace, the story is very different
Sorry, 90m cant be justified with good movement alone. He had a chance in each game, both of them shouldve been buried.
