Some are expecting Gonzalo to score an exceptional +36 Serie A goals like last season. But he's doing just fine. The build-up play, his positioning, workrate and most of his attempts are more than decent at the moment. He was sharper a month ago, but he really played a lot of full 90 minutes lately, that's why I think Allegri should rest him after the Porto game.

As long as we win it really doesn't matter who scores and he does bring a lot more to the table than just goals. I don't think he is tired just hasn't really got in to great scoring positions lately.

He was in great form since the formation change but last few games he lost a step. Even if he isnt tired, a break usually helps in such situations.

I dont mind him having off games, as long as he shows up for the CL (thankfully he wasnt needed tonight). Hes our 90M man after all

He has though. He had multiple good chances against Milan, tough ones, but good, and he missed the net with the majority.

He fucked up a gilt-edged chance today to make it 2-0. And he really should have scored the goal Pereira stopped with his hands. If that was a keeper there making that save it would have been an embarrassingly bad finish.

I want my 90mil striker finishing those chances. He got bailed out by other players on this team in both games.
