I like a lot when in attack he fix our rival RB and AS can attack Mandzo back but we need to create more attacking options for him and thats why I'm into the idea that Pipa go down a bit in line with Dybala, Mandzo try some diagonals and create a lot more of space in front
This happened only once today. Higuain dropped off into normal Dybala territory and Mandzukic made that run from half straight to the penalty mark. Higuain sent a very good ball, it was just out of reach.

I think movements like that help our attack.

Actually we do need him. One injury to either Higuain or Mandzukic and we're in trouble.

Plus, Morata would do great things in that Mandzukic role.

I know we don't really need Morata right now, but he'd be a personal dream signing of mine
:agree:

We don't really need a Higuain-type goalscorer in the league. We could easily play this formation with Mandzu and Morata playing CF or LWF... both of them have that versatility...

Higuain's inability to score in CL knockout matches is worrisome. And until he shows he can overcome it, I will prefer Morata, as he has shown to be a perfectly suited to CL football.

:agree: Morata could be a great option for the LW. If we don't get Sanchez that is.

And he could deputize for Higuian when needed

Love his celebrations

And still kinda undecided on his performances today tbh.

On the one hand he managed to create some huge chances out of nowhere - on the other hand, none of his shots went in.

Which wouldn't be a problem with most other players, but the huge expectations we rightly have of him work against him in this case

Not his sharpest just now, probably from playing so many 90 mins. He seems to be misreading a lot of cutbacks at the moment.

Even when not at his sharpest he still stands out. Had a couple of great shots and superb play to set up Dybala in the second half when he miscontrolled.

Most of them were insane volleys that not many strikers would even attempt anyway. He'll be back scoring soon enough.
