If we get a replacement for Higuain, we don’t need any of these two.
BTW, don’t suggest Morata. He’s reached his ceiling. He’s not 21-22 anymore. He’ll be 26 this year.
if we sell Mandzukic and Higuain, we gonna need 2 strikers. ill take Morata and one of those 2 as backup gladly. Morata with Costa and Cuads stretching the defense, and Dybala getting in behind him, would be amazing to watch. then add 2 starting caliber mids to Pjanic and we are set

if not for the sake of improving the team, then at least do it for the sake of future.

if we don't sell Higuain now and have to buy a starter in his place a year from now, while we pay Higuain 7.5m till 2021, how do you think we'll do it, Exor will give us extra funds lol?

Love the double standards here. The people who want to sell Higuain constantly blame the management for weakening the team year after year.
y, selling Bonucci, Vidal or Pogba was major weakening the team, because those guys left us at their peak. Higuain is naturally gonna weaken our team even if he stays

How so? Can you name a single striker in Juves’s 121 year history that has scored 55 goals in their first 2 seasons here?
How so? because this season he was fit for the last ~3 months of the season, the rest was pretty bad. I don't think this'll improve with age

can you name a single striker in Juve's 121 year history that has played 104 games in their first 2 seasons here?

How is that a bad thing? If I buy a striker I expect him to be fit for 95% of the season.

if you want me to name a striker scoring 55 goals in his first 2 years at Juve, I can't. but I can name several scoring the amount Higuain has relative to the minutes he has played, it's not that impressive.

Higuain 55 goals in 8339 minutes, goal every 151 minutes, it's literally the same number Quagliarella had for us.

Trez f.e. averaged a goal every 127 minutes throughout his career in Serie A and goal every 136 in his overall career for Juve, and that's including the 1:0 Capello years and his fading seasons under Ranieri, Ferrara and Zaccheroni.

truth is, best years are probably behind Gonzalo and he's not the type of striker I want to see growing old at Juve and he's definitely not on the wages we can afford for a 2nd fiddle player

That you have to bring up Trezegol, one of Juve’s greatest number 9’s, tells me all I need to know.
People here are opposed to the 90 million transfer fee, and will not change not their mind unless Piggy scores a hat trick against UEFAdrid in the CL final.

Higgy is supposed to be that level, he's our biggest transfer ever and our biggest wages ever, am I supposed to compare him to Matri or Amauri and be happy that he's doing better than those guys? Because sure, I've no problem admitting that he's twice the striker Matri was (and 10 times the striker he is since he left Juve) and way way better than Amauri, who was like a CB playing striker. I just think it's smart to let go of him this summer if we have the chance, Gonzalo already has big problems getting into shape, I'm afraid to think what will happen in a year or two

So, in short, never.
:agree:
I know Pipita has his flaws, he isn’t the best player in his position, but half of Tuz has an irrational hate of him based on his transfer fee. He is the best striker we can afford right now. If we sign Lewandowski, I’d gladly ship Higuain to Swansea City for free. If it’s a third rate striker like Morata, I’ll say hell no.

nah, the best striker we can afford outscored him this season playing for the same team 15 metres lower than Gonzalo and playing significantly less minutes
