Torino could have been cocks like fiorentina, say "wel napoli offers it straight up, so do the same and gtfo.

Their fans(that handfull) would have liked it, and it was financially better
But how is this Napoli's fault?

And there's no way they can get Ibra and Nani with their wage demands.

About Higuain, yes they may do better with a cheaper alternative like you said but still I don't see a big problem after selling Cavani for 60mln who wasn't on low wage either. They would have Mr. 43% c.r. himself and still got 20mln profit.

they cannot afford him. they wont nearly have full image rights to back up his big salary. I'm a big higuain fan and i'd be sad to see him go to napoli. any italian team but napoli.
it would ruin them tho
Inter?

lol, who do you suggest they should buy then?

They're always going to overspend at this moment. They need to replace Cavani and ALL the elite strikers have moved bar Higuaín. If they wanted value for money they should've signed Gomez but he rejected them. It's not like Nipples have a lot of choice.

Come to Italy Pipita :touched:

Tevez, Llorente, Balotelli, Sharaawy, Klose, Di Natale, Gomez, Quagliarella, Vucinic and Higuaín all in Serie A, eat a $#@! EPL. :delpiero:
Fixed! :D

Still, its impressive how easily Napoli has overcome the matter that have been haunting us for nearly a decade, in our quest to sign such a prestige finisher!!
We have failed so many times to get our Dzekos, RVPs etc and even now, had issues closing this deal and had to settle with Tevez.
Making all the small baby steps to reach that level, so that we can attract such a high caliber striker in low life serie A.
Going after all those Amauris, IAquintas, MAtris, Tonis, Borriellos, Bendtners, Anelkas etc and they just stepped in and bought a Higuain class player from Real Madrid!!
Kudos to their transfer managers!!

They are a small team to hold his ambitions, he was gone at heart some time ago. It was inecitable to happen. They have exploited his qualities far too long already and manage to find such a talent.
They have spent half of the profit to replace him, with a great player and still have enough millions to further strenghten themselves.

It is a talent that they have managed to find before everyone else.
They didnt lose nothing from this process. When we sell our 25mil acquisitions for 5mil, we do hurt, but they managed to get such a player from the profit alone!
But whats the most remarcable, is that such transfer has happened, from the prestige side of views!

The past 10 years we were struggling to buy players of this class, with an equivalent ammount of money at hand, but we were failing miserably, each and every year.
Even now after two consecutive titles, seemingly going for the third star and showing great performances in CL, with our presence there guaranteed.
Even we had difficulties to make such a prestigious transfer happen!

And apart from our superior comoaring to Napoli status, we are still named Juvents, a has been that carries a lot of history on its back!
Napoli had their MAradona moments, but thats about it and even with Higuain their titles hopes are still slim, their chances in europe still reduced...

Every time Secco or Marotta was failing in the transfer market, those obstacles were brought forward to excuse their incompetence, but Napoli just did it!
They do deserve all the praise they can get, such transfers bring a lot of prestige not only to them, but the entire league!
This is most likely going to be the most prestigious transfer of this summer's mercato.
