At the end of the day, if a Monaco, PSG or City come in for any player we're fucked, that's the harsh reality at the moment, we don't have unlimited funds. it's clear our sealing is 25 million plus 4.5 million wages, however that has to be used on a player who we feel won't he a risk. Unlike Chelsea or City if a player fails they can just cast him aside and lose everything they paid for that player, it's a pathetic model and certainly isn't sustainable. We're run like a true top club should be and I hope we never change that. Sure we might not be able to compete for the likes of Cavani or Falcao but lets not forget this Juventus has players every club can only dream about having and due to our financial model we're not forced to sell.

You wouldnt even call him a developing player ,i mean he's close to being in his prime.in that respect arsenal wud be a poor career choice unless he isnt keen on winning major honors and just content with playing good futbol and scoring goals.

Why would he go to arsenal??a club who won't win nothing ever
It's a challenge. They play CL and league is pretty strong, clubs are very strong.

In Serie A it's a not a challenge. Juventus is the strongest side and we took 2 titles. Napoli is strong and they were second, there were no surprise there. CL would be his challenge which we still can't win obviously.

Teams like AC Milan managed to get Mario Balotelli, I don't see why Juve can't pay for big signing in parts too.

The problem is, it is become we keep delaying do we give the chance for the big spenders to come in

In that case EPL would be challenge which Arsenal won't win, obviously.

Assuming Arsenal buy Higuain for 25m and beat us to the deal? Would you guys blame Marrotta for this or is it our turnover?! :)

I would blame us for beating around the bush looking for an installment deal, when we could offer the money that has been set aside for A particular signing. (Of course, only if we are genuinely interested in the player.) If Arsenal sign him, then it's not coz we didn't have the money for this deal IMO.

Seeing as we are now analysing hypothetical failed moves on 8th June can we perhaps add a little more context?

What if we sign Tevez or Jovetic instead? It's not the same answer, is it?
What if Arsenal really are offering £150,000 p/w (that's €9m p/a for us)? It's not the same answer, is it?
