But if that is the unbridled truth, My dear Dru, combattant of the anti-Great Man militia, then woe is certainly me! And everyone else here!

Would it not be wise, then, to reach for our firearms and; if I may be so bold and offer a phrase I picked up in Sochi during my travels; strap dem gatz and bring da ruckus?

The great thing about not believing is that you never end up disappointed. I always doubted we'd land him, and now I'm pretty much convinced he's going sonewhere else. But that's okay, because I never expected any better. Now that's a powerful philosophy.
 summarized perfectly in my dream signing avatar.
Unfortunately every time we're close to sealing the deal they kill Kenny, those bastards. :andy2:

Higuain going to Man City is laughable really, like he is going to improve their attack. Aguero and Tevez are both better than him and unless they are leaving, I don't think Higuain is going there to replace Dzeko. Also, given City's buying power, they sure as hell can and will aim higher than Gonzalo. Rightfully so.

He's coming to Juve, if he's one of our main targets.

[SPECIAL][/SPECIAL] I think he missed a 100 % opportunity in the beginning of the match and for me that was the decisive moment. It was clear as sky that Real needed an early goal and he missed a chance in the 4th minute. I also think that his stats in the CL were something like 8 goals in 50 matches, even Quagliarella has a better ratio .:D

"I categorically deny that I am the new coach of Manchester City, nothing was signed & no agreement was reached." Pellegrini (via ANSA).

I know it's ridiculous, but what the hell, let's recall what happened versus Dortmund:

1st Leg:
Pepe loses Lewandowski and he scores 1-0
Higuain capitalize on Hummels mistake and provide Ronaldo with a goal 1-1
Pepe keeps Lewandowski onside for the goal 2-1
Pepe get kept watching Lewandowski scoring from inside the area 3-1
Alonso fouls Rues for a penalty, Lewandowski scores 4-1

2nd Leg:
Higuain misses a clear chance 0-0
Ozil misses an incredible 1-on-1 with the GK 0-0
Ronaldo misses by shooting straight at the GK 0-0
Ronaldo misses again with a shot 0-0
Di Maria misses with a long shot 0-0
Benzema scores too late 1-0
Ramos scores at stoppages 2-0

Are you sure Higuain is the reason Real were knocked out by Dortmund? If you want to ignore Pepe's first leg heroics and the fact that Higuain is the reason Real scored an away goal, then just look at the chance Ozil missed compared to the one Higuain missed. Ronaldo was also miserable in the 2nd leg.

He is a striker, his job is to score goals especially at important moments. Yes, there were other shocking misses in the second leg, but that doesn't make his performance in that game any better. He was the first one to miss a clear chance. As for the first leg - well that assist could have been made by anyone on this forum.

A striker with 8 goals in 50 matches in the CL is anything but a game-changer. Whether he or Weidenfehler was the reason Real were eliminated is up for debate, but we definitely don't need someone like him if we want to challenge for the European title.

Higuain gets in goal scoring opportunities very easily, his positioning is one of the best in the game that's why he misses chances now and then but find me a player that doesn't.
