Llorente's contract will expire on June 30th. That's why he could already sign his new deal with Juventus for July 1st on February 1st 2013.

Mario "I get benched by Mandzukic" Gomez, is that the best player you could come up with? I mean he is good and I like him too, but what in earth has he accomplished more than Higuain?

Zach was comparing Higuain to Trezgol when they are very different type of strikers. Gomez is just one of the very few good poachers (like trezgol) remaining in the world as opposed to the more complete type of strikers than can create something for themselves without much service and offer more than just goals (like Higuan and Mandzukic).

And yes, Gomez is definitely a world class poacher, while higuain is far from being the best of the complete forward type of strikers. Gomez's goal record for club and country speaks for itself. I dont think we need a poacher though now that we have llorente. I am all for signing Higuain: a huge improvement over what we have now with potential to grow even further.

Load of garbage, we have a much better chance of signing Higuain than Ibra. Ibra's wages are too high and Beppe pretty much admitted we can't afford him. He ain't gonna drop down 4-5M a season to join us.
