Mixed up this and last season's goals, however, i dont $#@!ing make stup up, thank you very much...

read the article i posted, the second one

this one

READ IT

then come tell me he isnt as good as i say.
Not that I really care about this anymore but.. last year he scored 22 not 17. So you are probably mixing up numbers in your own imagination.

That blog post is also a joke. He rationalizes all of Higuain's failures with dumb reasoning. If the team performs badly then Higuain will not score is basically his reasoning. Well somehow I doubt that should be a legitimate excuse for a "world class" player. I actually didn't even know Higuain never scored a goal or recorded an assist in knockout stages of CL. All I see is that he is a goal scorer who scores goals for a team that creates tons of chances.

Which should be great for us, yes, I agree!

He's not the best #9 and he's not world class though, IMO.

So trezeguet wasent world class because he was just a poacher that never carried the team ?
Wrong.
Higuain is a player that doesnt carry the team, but is clinical with the chances he gets.

Will do better at juve then cavani or falcao

Why is it that nowadays, only the complete strikers that arent that clinical are so highly rated ?

yet actual goalscorers, are rated less..

wtf, seriously

Flopped badly in cl,his stock has gone down as a result, no other "top" club look par'rly interested in signin him, unwanted at the club more or less.all these equates to entering marotta's territory of transfer dealings

This is amazing, just amazing.

Finally we are having the chance of signing a world class player, who despite such young age allready proved so much...

...and some people are like "he's failure, he's not world class, marotta level" ....

He outscores messi at argentina, he outscored ronaldo in a two man frontline, he entered madrid's first eleven at 19 years old, he has been amazing untill this season, that was a bit bad. but entire madrid was bad, and there were much internal struggles.

do i need to link del piero, or trezeguet's less profilic years ? they had them to

Oh sorry, misread it then.

But i dont think he failed, i think madrid board, like allways, are a bunch of retards that cannot value a player unless he scores 100 goals and drags their nose into it.

Real madrid, wants a player they can market. a flairfull player. But they also want a complete player that can lead the frontline apparently, so it makes sense to keep benzema.

Madrid should have gotten falcao. or cavani. Perfect for their sole striker system, with upcomming wide midfielders. fact that that spanish cm went to bayeren, another example of how stupid madrid is

remember how sneijder left em and carried inter to a trebble, and holland nearly to a world cup ?

Dont be surprised if Higuain, played right, suddenly tears up serie a and juve

Falcao is massively overrated here esp. for a guy who has barely played CL.dont think there's much of a diff b/w higgy, cavani and falcao if im being honest here

True, and higuain outscored him in the league, both him and ronaldo actually.

But i was just explaining that you have players excellent at beeing lone striker, and you have players excellent in a 2 striker partnership.

cavani and falcao are good as lone striker

Higuain needs a two striker partnership for the best

I see the word clinical being tossed around quite a bit...
Although I think Higuain is a great player, "clinical" wouldn't really be my assessment of him. Statistics be damned :D
Could be that I haven't watched enough of his games, and/or that those that I watched were against the toughest opposition.
Anyway, converting more chances against smaller clubs is nothing to hold against him; those are the games that matter the most when it comes to winning the league. CL is another matter...

That being said, if Juve can get him, I'm all for it.
"the statistics tell he's mightly clinical, but screw statistics, i dont like him so he isnt clinical"

tuz
Damn, man, you could try to read my whole post...

I would like to see him here, I'm just not as convinced about his out-of-this-world clinical finishing as you obviously are.
My comment about statistics was made in a joking manner (hence the smiley), but statistics aren't everything.

I get that you like him and you're in awe of his stats, you made that abundantly clear, but people are entitled to have their own opinions.
