I never watched higuain closely, but Benzema at Lyon was for the better part the best striker that year. All he needs to do is shed the weight

What are you saying ? that at lyon benzema was a good player ? wel, its france

at real madrid, in the single striker system, benzema contributes more to the team, whilst higuain horribly outscores him.

in the twostriker system, benzema was mostly a benchwarmer and ronaldo stand in.

You're spot on. He's a flexible player as well though. I've seen him on the right side of real's 4-3-3 a few times this season. His pace and skill is also underrated because of his size.
this, but no way is he better than cavani, higuain cant carry a team the way cavani does

So you Higua fans don't agree that he misses loads of easy chances?
is that like a lot?

I don't rate the La Liga, the competition is relative. Huge gaps between the two halves of the tables. France is hardly a bad place to play, very competitive league.

We dont need a striker to carry our team, we got our midfield, vucinic and llorente for that

we need a scoring striker, and there is not a single striker more clinical then Higuain

Outscoring fucking christiano ronaldo, and having a 43% strike conversion, is amazing in any given league

france is at a much lower level then la liga. their top10 does far better in the euro league

i disagree, carrying your team means higher mental attributes which imo edinson definitely possesses, physically higuain is the perfect striker, but total package cavani wins

Every striker misses chances but Higuain has one of the best goal/chances ratio in Europe.
Easy chances though.

The games I happen to watch would usually on be big CL games, and I'm always baffled as to why people here like him so much, because he just seems to miss sitters all the time. Maybe those games against the little teams that I wouldn't bother to watch is where his stats are padded.
Best player in madrid in 2008/2009
outscored ronaldo in 2009/2010

43% shot conversion rate in 2011/2012

No, i dont agree with you.
Bolded isn't what I asked.

Okay.

whats the difference between a lot and a few?
It's up to the observer.

Wait...what? La Liga is much more competitive than Ligue 1.

PSG is the only quality side, and then the rest of the teams are awful.

Ibra (and others on PSG) have said Ligue 1 lacks competitiveness.

That happens whenever you have the funds PSG does, but the rest of the league is competitive. It'll balance out again soon enough.

I'd be happy with Higuain though

Ligue 1 is...what is the word...raw?

It's going to be a long time until until Ligue 1 becomes competitive like the others.

Another couple of oil money clubs are going to have to invest in Ligue 1.

I'd reckon "raw" is a good thing. That's why its not like La Liga where the wealth disparity is so vivid.
Zach, what exactly are you saying? I'm confused
