Certain is a word I won't use when it comes to Juve and transfers. You're simply assuming.
Based on the season we've had, our coach's words, and our ambitions moving forward, I have reason to be less sceptical than previous seasons. In fact I feel this season, more than any other, we won't be in for a long, engagng drama with our bigger targets. I think we will be more decisive and if we are lucky these deals may close sooner than August.

One can only wait and hope for the best, I guess.

That really is the only way to deal with these top transfers these days. You avoid bidding wars, you give the players more time to adjust in preseason, and even commercially, there's additional merchandise that can be sold before the start of the season based on the signing. Those last day deals are no longer as viable because we aren't working from a position of strength. Sure Bayern have the money etc., but I love how they have wrapped up a major player before the mercato opens. Things are so much clearer for them moving forward. About time Juve stop waiting around to make bids for leftovers.

Suarez is a world class forward. Ibra is. Not Higuain. There are very few truly world class players. Higuain is a good, solid player. Maybe quality, but by no means a game changer.
Under pelegrini, Higuain was a world class forward, outscoring ronaldo, putting benzema on the bench.

Under mourinho, he has had a diffrent role that he couldnt fit into very well. YET he still outscores benzema who is highly rated on this forum

Higuain is the best 9 in the game. Better then Falcao and Cavani, when played right.

and i dont give two shits cavani scored a hattrick. go check how many hattricks and braces Higuain scored.

Hence, apart from 2010/2011, where he could only play half the season, he outscored benzema in every single season, despite benzema beeing mou's n1 player.

I love Higuain but he is not better than Falcao.

Falcao's record in big games is just too impressive.
My man, that is not true, and i'll explain you why.

Falcao is amazing as a single striker, with a team behind him. Much like cavani. For this reason they are highly regarded.

Higuain, is amazing in a two striker systhem.

Mourinho plays 4-2-3-1. Higuain isnt fitted for that system yet outscored benzema, a tuz favorite. Mourinho's real should have gotten falcao, he's perfect for that system

Pelegrini played 4-4-2. Higuain in a two striker system. In 2008/2009 he had a big breaktrough, and in 2009/2010 he outscored ronaldo !, scoring more league goals then falcao ever did despite beeing in a two striker system, rather then single striker.

Yeah, falcao scores more goals in europe, in the european league...cannon flodder. Madrid plays in the championsleague, thats serious business.

In a two striker system, Higuain is the best #9 in the world. Ibrahimovic-Higuain, would tear serie a and europe to pieces

2008/2010 Higuain in a two striker system, was far more impressive then current falcao.

He was better then ronaldo. you can read up that ronaldo wasent to happy with not beeing in the spotlight, cause Higuan was outscoring and performing him.

want more stats ? despite injuries and mou preferring benzema and a one striker system he isnt good in...

... he had a 43% chance conversion in 2011/2012.

Falcao, Ronaldo, not even fucking Messi, get that. Its a standing record. beat Milito's 35% in 2006/2007

I seriously beg to differ. He would be a beast for any side willing to start him regularly. So goes the trend on this forum of underrating players who aren't getting as much game time as they should. I think we're all going to be very surprised by Llorrente.

Higuain has been the most clinical striker in a two forward system for 3 years, yet mourinho played benzema, who works better with his one striker system.

He is criminally underrated. Place him and cavani at juve, and he'll easely outscore him. cavani is a lone striker that creates for himself, but is far from beeing as effective as Higuain.

His goal to playing time ratio is insane, is convertion rate is out of this world, and shames even messi and christiano ronaldo. 43% last year, you cannot possibly comprehend how much that is.

Imagine the amount of chances our forwards get each game...

You're spot on. He's a flexible player as well though. I've seen him on the right side of real's 4-3-3 a few times this season. His pace and skill is also underrated because of his size.
