The most clinical striker in the game is not very efficient ?

Just watch him when played well. Mourinho wanted him to play a game he isnt very good at.

As a pure number 9, Higuain is the best player in the world. More clinical then cavani, falcao.

Just watch his 2009/2010 season to see what he can do when played right.
Idk man, I watch Real every now and then, and he just happens to miss loads of chances in those games. Easy chances. But of course, he often ends up scoring anyway.

Higuain is the best 9 in the world that juventus could want. for this reason's i'm sceptical about the deal. He could fit well at a few other teams aswel.

Best number 9 for Juventus would be none other than Cavani. But Higuain would be a phenomenal signing. Would rather get him and a creative player over Zlatan but me wishes and what will happen are two completely different things.

Cavani hasent had a single season where he came close to 2009/2010 higuain, despite having his team build around him.

Look at the league standings. Zlatan's milan, got 30% more points last year then cavani's napoli this year, despite milan going QF CL, and napoli not giving a fuck about EL this year.
Higuain ? took madrid on his back in the 2009/2010 season.

Cavani is good, but overrated a bit by many. Higuain, ibra, falcao are simply better.

Say what you want but to me Higuain has never been that good.

In a nutshell; Madrid creates a hundred chances, he misses 95 and scores 5. Any other average to above average striker would be able to do the same. I can think of at least 10 other strikers i'd choose over him. Overpriced and overrated.

I just don't know how Higuain and Llorente would play together. Major rotation?

I'd honestly just start both of them.

TMW reported that Ibra has lowered his wage demand to 9M :)lol:) Juventus want him for lower than that, and Higuain is an alternative to Ibra.

Does Conte and Marotta think Higgy can play with Llorente? Maybe. :)

Meh, a blog that probably only his mom knows about, anything but a reliable source.

I've been watching Real Madrid since the late 80's and him and Benzema IMO make up the worse strikers i've seen playing for that team. They're nothing but lucky for having such amazing mids who will give them easy goal scoring chances at least 10 times a match, ans even luckier for playing in a league where only one team will challenge them.

If we get him, it's indeed an upgrade to what we have but there are better strikers out there in tje same price range.

I don't rate Higuain as a finisher, however good stats may claim he is.

I only tend to see him in big games and he consistently missed too many presentable chances in those games for me to think he's a top CF.

That said, I do like an awful lot about the way he plays.

His movement and link up play ticks a lot of boxes of what I look for a No. 9 to do in general play.

That's why we have Llorente. :)

Do you think a Higuain - Llorente partnership would work?

Not really.

Lack of mobility and without the saving grace of fantastic technique and creativity that could give a Llorente-Ibrahimovic pair the chance to succeed.

Higuain-Llorente might sort of work if you had a great trequartista behind them and a couple of good crossers out wide, but last time I checked Juve had none of those things.

And Llorente isn't a great finisher either.
