About Crespo vs Higuain I have my doubts.
Higuain has the potential to level or even outdo Crespo, he just have to change leagues/teams to show the world what he is made of imho. It's obvious he is not a bench warming material in madrid, but he would never be first choice either and its likely that they will buy a new striker in an year or two...
More - I would like to ask if Higuain is world-class what is Batistuta then? Interplanetary level? Come on, nationalism aside pls... Higuain for all his qualities is not a starter in his NT, a NT which frankly hasn't achieved anything, and even worse, where he is being benched by players like Tevez(with great personality and motivation, missing 6 months out of his club season for no apparent reasons, etc...).
So no- its obvious that Higuain is not WC. Certainly not now and atm a long shot away from ever being one.

i'll see your batistuta and raise you a a maradona, if batistuta is WC what does that make Maradona? nationalism? i dont know any argies here, he actually does start for his national team and tevez hasnt played for sabela yet, yes even before the man city incident; where do you get your facts from?

Batistuta>Maradonna!
Batistuta was absolute class my good! But this is just a personal bias, Batigol is my favourite Argie.

About batistuta and maradona you are correct, but then again Maradona is one (if not the one) player you can call with any overblown qualification. Intergalactical? Yes, he was! So its a moot point. Same goes for Messi and Maradona. But messi unlike Higuain is a regular in his NT even if they had to change the formation for him. So far I haven't seen him play as a defender only.
And when I say Higuain is not a starter - don't turn around and say that he is starting. He was starting in R Madrid as well if you want to play the word game. Does that make him a starter there?

no i watch argentina, unlike you who thought tevez is benching him, when the guy never played for the new coach. Higuain does start for argentina, even benching aguero. Mourinho has prefered benzeman to him ever since his injury, real has been playing to ebnzema's strengths so i unerstand not wanting to disrupt, but guess what higuian is still outscoring him with less minutes. If a top 5 striker is not WC, then i dont know who is.

+ " Top 5 forwards in the world..."

I'll just be laughing now here quietly. This new coach has he ever had the chance to select Tevez, unless he calls him from a wedding or a discotheque?

WC player: Lionel Messi, age 24, 67 games for NT
not a WC player: Higuain, age 24, 23 games for NT

Another non-WC player: Nicolas Anelka - 69 games in 12 years - I hope Higuain beats that, but there were people, just like you, claiming "Le Sulk" is WC and he was bought by RM as well, as I am sure you know...

Either ways...we prob won't get him. Expect a loan Torres or Rossi for 15mil. Marotta will disappoint again I'd rather not get my hopes up.

i guess this answers my question about your fact finding abilities. clearly there's a reading comprehension how shall we say 'disconnect'. I wont laugh though but will wish you the best in conquesring this debilitating understanding-killer, but i believe with a little bit of humility and a lot of 'i ll close my mouth when i dont know' you ll get it done.

True, true... It doesn't seem that you comprehend my real question too so I'll put it more bluntly: Coach number .... in the last ... years? [fill the blanks]

And I, for one, won't be disappointed if we loan Torres instead of buying Higuain. Although I would happily take the 'mexican' here as well.

you would take torres over higuain?
I would but a younger version of Torres . 24 years old torres >>>>> 24 years old higuain, but yeah now I think I would prefer Higuian as torres has a big question mark over him. He looks like he is coming back but he is 28 and injury prone so would be a big risk. Higuain is a sure bet.

I hate when people put forward players all in the same bracket as strikers and don't see the difference between a SS, WF or a CF.
