Okay, not "bigger", but for someone who doesn't like to play with words, as we see in the God is not real thread, this is what you said:
For one he doesn't play at real at all. Secondly our club has more history and prestige nd with our resurgence he could be key to our CL championship

What could've happened in 5 years that would've elevated us from the level were already on? Winning a CL and some leagues still wasn't going to give us the glamour or prestige of Real.

And that's okay. Your club doesn't have to be the best club, or your country the best country, or your wife the best wife. Just the best for you. /cheesy mode off

Thats very true, although we were only 9 L behind if we would have one a few in those 5 along with a few more scudetti it would have been mere games as a difference in prestige

No not really, we couldnt show dzeko a scudetto or offer him champions league soccer, we will be able to. You seem to forget all we could show dzeko was two back to back 7th place finishes after being in serie B
Dzeko never came here because we couldn't (or wouldn't) pay the money required to bring him here. I doubt that has changed.

Well, why would we want to pay for a player we can't even buy because of (very stupid) non-EU limit? I think the money was there; in the end we used that money to buy Motta, Pepe, Quag, and Matri.

So you did watch the European Cup from the 1950s?

First one I've spoken to! I have no idea about Puskas and Di Stefano from that Real Madrid side.
Dude don't be silly.
I don't have to watch every game to form an opinion. I've always read that those early competitions were weak.
And the most of the match results confirm that to a certain degree. Go check the results from back then to know what I mean.

Plus, those 5 titles that Real won, are the very first 5 title of that championship,
so of course it won't be as competitive as it is in the later years.
It was just starting and not everyone participated and the rules were different and the number of teams was much lower... etc.

it doesn't matter what the competition was like back then. A title is a title. Guess Real was the smartest of all to capitalize on the "weakness" of the competition back then.

Yes, a title is a title.
But a title in 57 isn't as meaningful as a title in 87 or 93 for example. That's my point.

It's like saying Italy's world cup wins in 34 and 38 were easier than those in 82 and 06.

Higuain would be awesome, although I'd still prefer Benz. Higuain, Vucinic, and Shaqiri/Ozil/Gotze/Reus/Ramirez while recalling Giovinco would make us quite potent in the CL.
