I watch RM games reguraly, you can't say that Di Maria is a headless chicken ( he's a good playerà but he's not what he made to be, i know what Callaguazo is sayin, if you watch RM games you would be amazed how many times Di Maria is running with the ball and forgets or trip over it by his own, try a step over and doesn't succeed, he's a very annoying player, the stat in his side tough because even in one game he's sucking, losing every ball, but he'll make a good cross and Ronaldo will score a header and he'll get the assist.

Both arguments are valid in my opinion. That's the same argument for Higuain, he'll be having a bad game, missing controls, losing balls, misplacing passes but in the end he'll score. That's why people will see the stat and say that he's a WC striker when he's not.

Every Half decent striker in the world would score in La liga, that's why Benzema is superior, he links up well with his teammates, he assists and help building the play something higuain suck at.
