Whatever makes you feel better.
I think Llorente is as good as Higuain as a CF, we don't need the latter as he won't offer something we won't get with Llorente, they can't play together.

I'm reading Bizarre things like Higuain is the best CF in the world, he can play as a right winger, he's a good dribbler, he's the best finisher in the game :howler:

Yet he wasn't a starter and only teams interested are Juve and GS.

Do you understand yet that RM's current system is not good for Higuain? Higuain needs space to make runs between the defenders. Right now it is too crowded with the wingers always cutting in. Thus he is not currently able to fully play to his strengths.

What, prey tell, do you base that on? And Higuain is a CF, even if a different one then Llorente. He is clearly better player then him.

Loly. What system is better for a striker playing in La liga who is set up for at least 4/5 clear chances a game. Playing behind him is Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo and Xabi.

Go read the Madrid forums, their opinions won't differ much from mine.

Even if Higuain is better it doesn't justfiy getting him, and benching Llorente, as i find the idea of playing both absurd, neither is creative enough. So i'd rather spent that amount on a player that will takes us to another level, we need another creative force besides Pirlo.

I think from a mental point of view, it must be really hard being a striker at Madrid. The pressure of playing with the best players in the world and always fighting for your place no matter how good you play. I think Higuain suffered from Benzema's presence a bit too. Not enough continuity coz of it. Could've hampered his productivity and self belief.

This is actually going to be a very interesting comparison to make. Higuain vs Llorente in Conte's system. On paper, I'd like to think that Higuain is perhaps better, but Llorente is going to be a bit of an unknown quantity in Italy. If he uses his attributes well enough, he could be equally explosive if not more.

In a 3-5-2 there would be more space upfront as long as we aren't pushing too hard than 4-2-3-1 with Di Maria and/or CR7 playing into the box.

All the top teams have great depth upfront, Higuain is perfect. Imagine if we get only Higuain and then next maybe Suarez/Jovetic etc.. Then we have Llorente, Higuain and whatever SS instead of just Llorente & SS. This is an opportunity we shouldn't pass up.

Indeed, I mean look at their bench... Kaka, Modric, Higuain you can't exactly have the mindset that you are going to be the best player when there are so many great players to compete with, including arguably the best player in the world atm. Put almost any striker in the same position and they will react the same way, since their job is to score goals.

Higuain would probably edge it due to finishing.

Higuain is a monster in a 2 striker frontline with a coach that trusts in him

when mourinho came with his 4-2-3-1, he put benzema in front. despite that, Higuain still scored once every 53 minutes

this season, there is shit at real, and Higuain is having difficulties cause of mourinho keeping all faith in the unclinical benzema.

When Higuain got trust from the coach, he outscored christiano ronaldo in a 2 striker frontline. That, tells enough. That season, he scored more then falcao ever scored in a single year.

I give you this, its a good point, Higauin is an upgrade on Llorente, but I kind of find it odd we would be thinking of an upgrade on a player that hasnt arrived yet. I fail to see how they will be able to pair up, even if Pipita is pretty mobile striker and Llorente a formidable prima punta, neither are that creative to play off eachother so naturally. But either way, thats an issue for Conte, I aint gonna say no to Pipita, thats for sure.
