Thanks Jeeks. I've been slow to get one because I'm not sure about the privacy issue, but I've decided that since I already use webmail, which has very poor privacy from the provider anyway, I may as well.

The major good thing about gmail is its storage.....I mainly use it to store files that I often use at various places

    What exactly is gmail???
Google's new email service. You have to be invited by a current user to get an email with them, but they've got 1GB of storage, and a neat search function.

Yeah, I got 50 invites as well.

I have two accounts, one for my email where I have used just 2 megabytes of capacity, and another one which I use for backing up files, where I've used 400.
