Whys he not the highest paid on the roster? Under pressure of keeping his head defending for majority of the game and outside that the one with most touches going forward. At this point this teams built around this guy.

Aside from being great defensively he also showed a lot of calm on the ball today, was more composed than usual i may add, this despite Rugani(and not only) putting him under unnecessary pressure with risky back passes on quite a few occasions where he reacted and handled it very maturely.

Don't know if it's a confidence thing, but he seems to have gotten better with his feet. Drives forward and makes sensible passes these days, compared to his earlier time here.

Confidence does go a long way and he seems to be bursting of it this days but could just as well be a direct result of himself or the staff having worked on improving that aspect of his game, either way he sure is responding well on the pitch, perhaps being now more adjusted to the tactics and pressure here also factors in.

Imagine De Ligt playing with Gati and Rugani in a three defense. Bremer is slowly but surely becoming a leader of this team. His first season was shaky but now it seems that he is finding his true form and his playing as he did in Torino that season.
