Liverpool provides a lot of exposure in the most competitive and most popular league in the world...so even if they are struggling, if they have just had their king returned, got huge funds to play with, and looking like turning round their season, yes, they look good to a relatively unknown player, which suarez most definitely was for most english supporters, who wants to make a name in the top leagues around europe.

Aguero was and still remains of a much higher class than Suarez in the general perception of most english supporters, and likely most la liga fans also, and likely most seria a fans as well....I am not saying he is a better player, i am saying in the general perception of the football supporting public of spain, england, italy. Ask a million fans from those countries who has heard of Aguero? who has heard of Suarez? and without any doubt whatsoever, a massively higher % would know of aguero.

perhaps in the US...I cannot speak for those fans, but as for the englush fans i know, and the italian fans i know, aguero has been spoken about for a year or two, whereas I did not hear anyone talk of Suarez, other than his handball, and then when liverpool became interested. Its an opinion of perception. Aguero seems to me, much more of a household name. Because he plays in a top european league, for a decent club, his woman is the daughter of one of the greatest footballers of all time, and he is regularly part of the argie squad, who are one of the best national teams of the last decade or five.

Suarez is a starter who's their most consistent goal scorer now and did an amazing AMAZING job in the WC. I can speak for the english fans 
I am not referring to actual talent as much as repuation and perception of talent...Aguero has had a lot of hype around him for a couple of years at least. And is undoubtedly better known throughout europe at least, than suarez.

I actually agree with Deneb. Blame our management not the state of the team. And to be fair, Liverpool are struggling more than us. Last time they won the league was 20 years ago.. and their name still rings for players. Juve will always be Juve. Finishing 7th two times in a row is something you won't see again.
