As much as a disappointment Rossi would be (in relation to Agüero) I don't mind having a left-footed forward in the squad for once. I don't think we had one since Bobo Vieri lol

hed be a welcome addition to our squad..a player that has garnered a lot of attention over the last yr with some wonderful displays for villareal

obv aguero would be a greater acquisition but if the difference is 20million euros between the two than rossi seems like a much better bet given we need as much funds as possible to address the left winger position,a central midfielder to replace melo and hopefully if marotta is serious enough to see it, one more addition to our defensive contingent which besides chiellini and lichsteiner is very average

as always, whoever we sign,i wish them the best of luck while donning the black and white!!

To be honest, if we fail to sign Aguero, I'd rather spend that money on quality winger (Nasri, Nani) and play Quag and Matri. Rossi was never my top choice for a striker. I wanted Aguero, Higuain, Sanchez or Falcao.

But, if Rossi signs, I'll welcome him, at least he's better than Italians we were chasing last year, Gila and Borriello. But, 27m is just too much, 22-23 should be more than enough.

If we can't get Aguero, I don't think we can get Nasri or Nani.

Nasri situation suits us, I think. He's out of contract next summer and clearly stalling at the moment. There's no way that Wenger wants to sell him to Man Utd or Shitty, so there's a slight chance for us. However, he'd ask massive wages, smaller than Aguero's but bigger than Rossi's.

Nani is hard to get, true, but I'd give it a shot, maybe offer money & Marchisio since SAF likes him.

Nasri would be like €100,000-120,000 a week.
