Aguero is a bigger name than Rossi in World football, I'm not saying he'd make 45 Million back in shirt sales but we'd see more Aguero tops than Rossi.

Honestly, that would surprise me quite a lot.

But regardless, I only commented on the fact that Aguero would "make the money back in shirt sales while Rossi wouldn't". Considering the Italian mentality, plus the fact that Rossi would have to make less money back than the Argie in the first place, that is just utter crap. And, knowing you've at least experienced Italian life, Nick, you should know it as well.

And before some smart guy now deducts from my posts that I'd want Rossi instead of Aguero, I don't. Either of them would be fine, none of them are imo worth taking grave financial risks for.

this is exactly my point! Its not about wanting one player more than another but the financials in the end are what counts and if atletico dont budge from the 45 million its useless for juve to spend that like some are calling for

True, but those people around the world need to buy legitimate Juventus jerseys from legitimate sources. Having 2 million fans in Asia, South America or Africa with a knock off jersey and Aguero (or maybe Aguaro ) on the back doesn't add any money to the old Juve bank.

I am not quite sure who we can consider to be realistic right now. If it boils down to the names we keep hearing: none would be worth a grave financial risk.
Quality wise, I'd say maybe Tevez, but other issues play in his case as well, so that leaves him out.

But still, if we do sign Aguero, I think I could get over it.
That is, until he sucks or gets injured. Then I will obviously remember everyone about me being uncomfortable about the financial side
