According to Sky Sports Italia, Juventus general manager Giuseppe Marotta may not be really tracking Atletico Madrid ace Sergio Aguero despite recently stating so.

Apparently, the executive is interested in Villarreal star Giuseppe Rossi instead and is maybe using the Aguero story to secretly negotiate with the Spanish club. The strategy is supposedly carried out to beat other clubs in the race to sign the Italian forward.

I know this was reported previously and most likely it's Sky trying to piss us off, but if it's true Marotta would need to be beaten then committed to a psychiatric hospital.
Using Aguero as a smokescreen for Rossi would have to be the craziest piece of transfer work ever construed.

But only Azzurri supporters try to find anything to make Rossi look better than Aguero.

And here's a solution. Since people like Italians so much and the difference between what Rossi and Aguero scored in the last 2 years is too small and we can't decide who's better, lets just sign Di Natale. He scored some 60 goals in the last two seasons. Much better than Rossi and Aguero.

He scored more and he's Italian. He already knows the league well.
Instead of splashing 35 for Aguero or 25/30 for Rossi, lets make a 15 million euro offer to Udinese for Di Natale. His last two seasons stats show that he's a much better player than Rossi, and since he's better than Rossi he's naturally better than Aguero.

Rossi has outscored Aguero 49-47 all comps last two seasons... Not saying that makes him better than Aguero, but lets not call him a piece of shit, either.
In fact it's the other way. Aguero is the better player, so people want Aguero. Makes sense. Ignoring the extreme anti-Rossi nonsense, it's common for internet fans to dumb down another player to validate the standing of the player they want, indeed in many other arguments also. Doesn't make sense.
