Rossi has outscored Aguero 49-47 all comps last two seasons... Not saying that makes him better than Aguero, but lets not call him a piece of shit, either.
Get over the whole Azzurri supporter thing, there are plenty of other people who rate Rossi highly after his last season especially. I've seen him described as average on here FFS.

"Not saying that makes him better"... BUT..."he scored more, bla bla bla" and he's Italian, already proven in more than one league, has more space for growth etc etc etc.
I've heard all the reasons used to make Rossi look better than Aguero. All of them are usually followed by a "Not saying that he's better, but..."
And lets face it that there weren't gonna be any comparisons between Aguero and Rossi if the latter wasn't an Italian. Those though who'd have hated if Juve signed Rossi instead of Aguero, who'd have hated it no matter if his name was Rossi, Rossinaldo or Rosic.
TBH if we don't sign El Kun the next logical player to go for, in terms of playing style, would be Rossi, so while it would be disappointing not to get el kun, you can't blame rossi for being young and talented enough to attract the attention of a club like Juve

If we can't sign Aguero then we shouldn't even go with plan B for the attack.
For big money it must be a world class player, someone who could take the team on the next level. It shouldn't just be the next best option for the attack, regardless of this "next best option" being able to drastically improve us or not.
Rossi is the player you add next to the big name. You don't overpay for him and make him the big name.
I think we could get Rossi for 20m plus Amauri or Martinez. I don't see how that is much more than what we'd pay for Vucinic. Considering the personnel at hand are not of much value anyway. Plus if we're saving about 8m on the Inler deal by going for Vidal, it's not out of the realm of possibility that we could pull off both. Irrespective of whether it happens.
