Rossi is also a game changer
YEs he is, not at the level of Aguero but he is definitely an upgrade to what we have. Whatching these 3 games thus far this preseason its very obvious that our forwards need someone to create for them, they can't do it themselves and thus we have a hard time breaking down even below par defenses that we've faced to create numerous chances. We need a fast play maker, Rossi is our last hope and we should do everything we need to do to get him.

He's a definite improvement. He's young anyway so if he falls flat on his face we can sell him. I still think it's highly unlikely that we'll end up with him now though, either Villarreal are playinn hardball or maybe he decided to wait for another season and look at other offers.

a mate at work today, who keeps his finger on the world football pulse more steadily than myself, was telling me that he reckons we will end up with berbatov. Not sure how I feel about that suggestion, as he is a player who I like, who I think could do brilliantly in Italy, as his footballing mind is sharp as a bushido, but we already have spent big on a prima punta (matri), so if he did come, where would he play???? Probably nothing in it, he just thought we were wasting our time with vucinic, as do I, even though vucinic could fit into the left wing forward position of our 4-2-4.

No, he wouldn't.

As for Berbatov, you can take my word for it that this would not be a good idea.
