this is the third transfer window in a row where we're missing a starter CM, last summer we failed to sign Matuidi and 5 other midfielders, in January we failed to sign Witsel and went for Rincon and this time again it looks like we're out of options when it comes to CM's.

In the past I would always get obsessed and frustrated with all aspects of our Mercato's, but I have to admit, having faith in Marotta to get the job done and finish the puzzle this year, is so much more relaxing

Yet we still reached another CL final and won everything there is domestically with this averahe squad we've got. It's also extremely funny you brought Witsel to your equation.

It's not my equation, it's what happened lol. And you're the only one saying we've got an average squad. We would be doing even better if Max had better midfield options, Marotta has failed with that in the past few windows and is not delivering now. I acknowledge his brilliant work in other areas, but our midfield of Pjanič, Khedira, Marchisio, Rincon, Sturaro, Assamoah and Lemina is not on the same level as the rest of the team and is holding us back

Witsel is not Beppe's fault. The guy was in Turin waiting desperately for a telephone call but Zenit pulled the plug at the last minute. Our midfield can be better of course. Considering that we have time to fix it, I choose to trust our board and their expertise instead of your constant bullshit and whining.

excuse me, I just pointed out that they haven't been delivering that starter CM for a long time, exactly which part of that is constant bullshit and whining?

Besides going after Witsel was never gonna solve anything probably, the guy is hardly an improvement over Khedira, if at all

Witsel was going to be a rotation player. I think that's part of why he didn't come, he didn't believe he'd start.
