Success breads success. It is getting easier for us to attract quality names. Alves could have picked any club. Same for Benatia and Pjanic.

Compare that to what Milan and Roma are going through. Even if they are willing to offer the same wages and transfer fee, if we are in the running, we get the player. Meaning they have to offer significantly more just to compete.

Great position to be in. Also easier to keep players like Pogba when he sees the quality we are adding to the team - why would he want to leave?
Ive said it before: unless they get their own stadium I doubt they will catch us in the next couple years. We have left everyone so far behind

Don't get me wrong here or anything, last summer by the mid of July we had secured Dybala, Khedira and some other players and it all looked great until we sold Vidal.
Yea, this Pogba shit is starting to bother me a bit. Even if we are selling him I would just like that to be clear. I don't want to go through the back and forth of will he won't he leave.

I'm not sure what is bothering you.

Juve have said they don't want to sell him, and want to increase his contract.

Pogba has given no indication that he wants to leave.

The only club that are even interested in him right now is Man U, who are not in the CL, and are no guarantee to be there next year either.

The difference being that last year they never stated that they don't want to sell Vidal, or offer him a new contract with an increased salary.

They have stated both with Pogba

It's a lot of money. And I wouldn't fault the ckub for accepting either. But point being what would we do with it? That would be the talking point. It's not beyond reasonable doubt that an EPL club can pay crazy fees. It really will come down to the individual choice that Pogba makes, but it's hard to believe he won't be tempted by the opportunity to earn close to three times his salary while Juve makes a ton of cash. The situation is a fluid one as far as I'm concerned, and it all depends on how this month plays out, coz I can't see us selling him post July 31st.

And again, it will all depend on Pogba. People want to compare this to Vidal, but these two situations couldn't possibly be further apart. And let's suppose that we were able to get a Cavani, Sanchez, or a Higuain.

Why would he leave? Just because of Money? Then his priorities are where they are.

It's just a lot of money Serge. For both, club and player. There is a serious talking point here if there is any truth to the figures. Very hard to give figures like that up. Pogba is a champion irrespective. I wouldn't fault him if he went, but it is clear the choice will be for money, not the sentiment people associate with Manchester as far as he's concerned. It's not his first family. It's the pay cheque. And that kind of money can get even the best of men thinking. It doesn't matter what Juve say, or what Riaola barks everyday. It really comes down to what Pogba wants from the situation that has now become much bigger than it was earlier in the season. I don't think the lack of CL would be a big deal for him for one season coz Raiola will do the job of convincing him of the seriousness of the Mourinho project if required. Or comes to that. The point is, how he resists the money? Juve are seeming uncharacteristically bullish on the market and I can't say it's beyond reasonable doubt that it's linked to a potentially big sale. My reading of the situation is that nobody actually knows the truth of the situation, and only Paul knows the reality of how this is all going to culminate. Not Beppe. Not amino.

but im not the one thats bothered by all the rumours
And the fratello stuff is annoying beyond a point, too much trolling on that thread. Needs to get shutdown ASAP coz a bunch of idiots are projecting us far more negatively than we should be credited for. I agree with the assertion outsiders have of us behaving like fans of a big club. Some serious immature shit going down there.
