I kind of want to hate on him but I don't want to knee jerk. Lemina and Cuadrado are doing wonderfully and we still need to wait and see how Khedira performs. But overall he's still the master of getting sweet returns.

Don't forget about Berardi the kid is a stud.

still don't understand the signing of Cuadrado, then the sale of Coman.

What was the thought of Cuadrado who doesn't fit without a formation with wingers? And why sell Coman when you could play him together with Cuadrado, surely you'd need two wingers to get this to work. What is 1 winger suppose to be good for? Now we're having problems fitting him into formation without playing other guys off position.

he had no vision this summer. Just signing players for the hell of it.
THIS. THIS. THIS. A THOUSAND TIMES THIS. FUCKING HELL I'M ANGRY.

He's a mixed bag. I personally liked Cuadrado, Lemina, Sandro and Dybala as transfers. Mandzukic was unnecessary, while Zaza and Hernanes are about to be a disaster. His sale of Vidal was terrible and giving away Llorente and Tevez was just sad, selling Coman was also puzzling, the guy can't sell.

Is it ok to apportion some of the blame and attribute the cause of our failure to this man? I mean, he got us an Inter reject in the last hours of the Mercato as our glorious TQ signing, offloaded Vidal, Tevez, and even Coman while getting no suitable replacements. I think it is fair that he receives some criticism for his role in this calamity. He has to be held accountable/responsible, just like Allegri is for his inexplicable tactical decisions (playing Zaza and Padoin) of late.

As of right now, he isn't our player.

But he damn well better be soon.

There wasn't too much wrong with his purchases (zaza aside), although he just seemed to buy random players that didn't seem to fit into a system, but the sales were disgusting: tevez, pirlo, Vidal, Coman and Llorente out for a grand total of 40m euro is quite disgusting.

He seems more interested in keeping the players happy rather than keeping key players here.

It would have been nice to see cuadrado and Coman either side of morata or mandzukic, that would have given us a different dimension.

If it ain't broken, don't fix it.

Its so fuckin' hard to create a winning identity. If you have one keep it until their legs fall off. No need to go mess around with it. Especially after almost getting the treble.

To this day I don't understand the Vidal sale. The Tevez one I always knew he was going back to Argentina.
But the Vidal one is crazy to me. We had probably one of the best midfield in the world and the strength of our midfield was what made us so competitive. With him still here we'd still have a midfield that had tons of chemistry and we could trust to carry this team in difficult times.
Instead, we now have guys like Hernanes, Lemina and Sturaro playing expecting them to recreate the same success as our last midfield.

We won't sack Marotta but we should. Allegri definitely will be sacked tho the moment we are knocked out of the champions league
No we shoud not. He messed up by not prioritizing and it is proving costly now that marchisio is injured and Dybala predictably is unable to fill in Tevez's shoes (which is a lot harder in the lack of a functioning midfield) but he remains one of the best transfer directors out there. Who can we possibly bring to do a better job?Its not like any transfer director has a great record if anything marottas opportunity signings have been a lot better than any other directors. The fact that he messed up big time doesnt make me think that other directors would have done any better. I still think he is one of the best directors out there even if he is not perfect and that cost us.

If Vidal was still here, do you think the midfield will click in the absence of Pirlo and Marchisio? I think definitely not. Vidal will do better than staruro and padoin for sure but he wouldnt be a distributor the way pirlo and marchisio can be. He just doesnt play that role that is so essential to the team.

We could have and should have kept vidal I am not disputing that, I am only saying that its even more stupid not to have bought a regista

Seeing Allegri tinker so much with his line ups pretty much alludes to the fact that he did not get the players he asked for. Thats my take on the way this man has done his business. Prioritising opportunities without any plan in place, almost overconfident that the formula of the past would repeat itself. Without realising that the skill set of his current coach is different from that of the last one who was best at building a cohesive team spirit.

I just realised how lucky we are to have such a man at our helm. Simply flawless.

But don't you know that he was very, very old at 28 and an injury prone and Bayern were so stupid to give him a 5 years contract?

Marotta: "We do not seek excuses, it's not part of our mentality, we've 10 new players."

Marotta: "We should not forget that we have lost two phenomena as Pirlo & Tevez, good players have arrived but not with the same charisma."

Marotta: ' We have complete faith in Allegri, he's in difficult situation, he can't field his favourite formation "

Is he trying to fuck with my mind ????

He is already thinking of sacking Allegri.

He's paying the price for banking on Khedira and Marchisio to remain fit for the entirety of the season, despite the pair having lengthy records in the treatment room throughout their careers. He should have bought Witsel when he had the chance.

He's paying the price for trying to change a whole team in one summer, selling our most important players without finding suitable replacements and trying to rely on guys who aren't ready.

He has spent a hug amount this summer, there is no excuse.

Not a single mention about how important Vidal was because he knows that he could have done without selling him. He still did not step back and ask himself why is Allegri having problems fielding his favourite formation. Obviously.
