Hamsik so much over Hernanes in every aspect. 25+sturaro+rugani is ridiculously much tho. 30 are a fair price and I would have liked that deal.
Did De Laurentiis actually ask for that, though?

I suspect he just said he'd consider selling Hamsik if he could get one or both of Sturaro and Rugani.

Juve weren't up for losing either of them so talks will have stopped before you even get on to player's valuations.

Napoli were up for spending 28m on Romagnoli and you'd have to think Juve would have wanted something similar for Rugani.

And as big as De Laurentiis talks, I'm sure he's well aware that Hamsik isn't worth an awful lot more than that right now.

Pogba, Tevez,Vidal, Llorente, Mandzukic, Khedira, Alex Sandro and many more.

Atleast people should have some basis before criticizing Marotta for not signing players from abroad.
I thought this myth was dispelled long ago.

One comment like that doesn't change anything.
He has gotten players of international calibre and will continue to do so.

Yeah but not getting a world class trequarista and jumping from one to another player last days of mercato while we had a lot of money is a direct Marotta's fault.

Oscar .Not because Allegri asked for him but because he is very quality player at good age.Okay I understand that maybe Mourinho will blocked his move but we can try to sign him at least.
Especially since he don't get much playing time lately at Chelsea.Marotta was jumping from one to another player during the last day/s of mercato and now tells us that Juve were never very close to Draxler. Now when we see that he tried to buy Hamsik seems that Hernanes was not plan B but maybe G.

As I said earlier... A good deal for us, a gamble for Bayern.
thats not a gamble for bayern. An expensive loan is peanuts for them and the option will be exercised only if he turns out great.

Loan with option to buy is practically risk free for the buying team. You get to try out the product before buying it.

True, thought first it was an obligation to buy which I thought was great. But an option is just crap no matter how you look at it.

There ya go, Serie A players are better than the rest because they know how to go to Carpi to win. Whoop-dee-$#@!ing-doo.
But what's the problem here? Hamsik would be much better than Draxler that's for sure.

Oscar didn't want to leave, why repeating the same bullshit all over again? He wouldn't be our saviour anyway, he's good but let's stop overrating him.

u have asked this many times and im yet to see one worthwhile and sensible response

i myself am eager to know
Options existed. Perhaps Depay could have been brought in if we had planned for him, for a high fee, but still within our realm of possibilities(Assuming the useless Zaza transfer didn't happen). Firmino could have been brought over as well, and he went for a reasonable fee as well. Draxler himself could have been brought in before hand if we had tabled a serious bid in the beginning, none of this 15M Euro + bonuses shit, Davy Klaasen could have been an option as well. We didn't push for Hamsik hard enough (sacrificing Sturaro for him would have been a-ok, brilliant move actually) but we didn't want to let go of one of our talents...which after seeing more of Sturaro I have to wonder what those talents are.

The issue is that Marotta didn't plan for this trequartista, he got cheap and waited for one of his famous "market opportunities". He thought Draxler was one, hence his lowballing of his bid. In the end there were no "opportunities" and we ended up with Hernanes. Underwhelming but could have been worse.

Would you rather have Firmino than Dybala?
Financially we could have signed both if we were smart.

Firmino is as versatile as attacking midfielders get. He would have been the best solution for our problem, bar the obvious high end players like Isco. Then Pastore, Gaitan, Anderson. All of them fantastic players and financially below crazy 60mil transfer fee area.

At the end even the shitty ones like Draxler looked kinda attractive. And then Hernanes arrived
