I agree that Max requested that type of player.No doubt about that.But get nothing about what he wishes.Also Marotta didn't ask him about Sandro coming here.Max welcomed Sandro saying that he doesn't know that he was coming.Of course Beppe failed or thought that we don't need the type of player Max asked for.

No one really can tell what's happened behind the scenes, but in all cases it's a failed mercato in my eyes and the whole management are responsible for this chaos.

Every preseason since he arrived I was angry at Marotta for what seemed like a failure mercato yet every year he proved to be right with a few exceptions, but then again even Moggi had his flop players
transitional year it seems.. And all the other teams greatly improved their squads
How much did we spend so far? Over a 100M I think, but a few seasons ago with much much less Marotta got us the likes of Vidal, vucinic, pogba, barzagli, licht and giaccherini who all impressed much more than expected of them
I maintain my faith in the people running the club, this new squad has a bright future ahead, what i cannot understand or forgive is marotta childish lies or contradictions about draxler, i really hope he isn't stressed by it or it will result in a panic buy tonight

For sure, it's way better than a panic buy. Worst case, plan for January or next season and go all in for next season with a better plan than the one they have now. Maybe buy Vrsaijko this season so we can spend less time in getting the AM next summer.

This end to the mercato has been ridiculous, selling players without having substitutes. Same for Vidal, really.

He brougt balance to Serie A and made it competitive again by single-handedly destroying a Juventus far more powerful than it supposed to be.

Harsh. But it is how we feared a few years ago, we often wondered what would happen if Marotta was given big money to spend.

Dont know if you remember but we even joked that we would prefer a pogba straight swap with x PSG players because Marotta would not make good use of that money.

Here we are. 120 millions spent and possibly more for no AM/ or an ordinary average or even mediocre one.
