Do you honestly think we would have achieved the same results with the exact same team this season? I have my doubts that we would have. We are making some tough decisions and hard choices that the fans are simply going to make it so much better for us long term.

It might be better for the long-term, and some departures (Tevez, Pirlo) were inevitable in the near future anyways, but there is no denying that our squad last year was bettern than our squad this year (as of now).

That's why Beppe's trying to lowball Schalke with insulting offers while he is a concrete target in the eyes of Allegri.

The first XI definitely is, because you lose Vidal and Tevez. Pirlo was a rotational player, and would have increasingly been a sub. We could have done without losing Vidal on top of those two older players, but it happened and we got money for him to allow us to plan further.

There's no doubt in my mind that we are not as strong as a group this season, but we are much fresher and built for longer term success. Next summer will probably see a little of the same, if we don't sign a left back this summer. Evra, Barzagli and maybe Buffon a year later.

Vidal was a mystery only to you maybe, everyone else realized already that he requested to leave and thats the reason we sold him.

Nah Marotta is a weak director, all the players he sign only become good because of Conte/Allegri.
