Yes Maybe. but i think he's being played out position. A dying breed: he seems the old-fashioned wide attacking midfielder to me, although he never plays there.
Yeah, I prefer him when he is played wider or deeper.

Hard for him to find the space to use his pace when he's trequartista.

Thing is these battles tend to get too personal for some people here. We should all view this a little more objectively, and as far as your battle with Jack goes, I can tell you I've known him from a long time, and I think his sarcasm and straight talk is being misinterpreted. Let's all give the situation a few days to play itself out before judging which side of the fence we are on as far as the future of a top/potentially game changing AM goes.
Few days? How about we dont jump to conclusion because ultimately how this team looks on the pitch is what matters here. There were plenty of unsatisfied folks last summer and few pretty much moaned 24/7, but situation didnt look nearly as dramatic once the season kicked in. Let's not forget that people in charge have little more experience in dealing with these type of situatons than an average tuzzer and certainly have a perfectly good reason for some moves.

still think if Bayern desperatly wanted Vidal, we should have pressured Bayern to force Gotze out of Bayern for exchange.

never mind, I do think Beppe has done a good job overall, so far, despite the complete mess of Vidal and quesitionable Tevez sale. Now that I've calmed down I guess we can put a bit more trust in him considering how well he's done in previous years

three points to make here:

1.) I wonder if we might try Coman in the AM slot and see if he can pull the strings from there.

2.) Maybe we don't want to spend so much on an AM this season when we have Berardi probably coming back for much less.

3.) Coman & Pereyra to get us through the season. Even Dybala there?

Just throwing out ideas folks, take it easy
Well, im here to throw all of your ideas into the trash can and crush your dreams and hopes of bullshit /Zach

-But seriously.... i have not seen Alleri using Comanin there.. not even once..and i dont know if he would turn him into an AM after missing everyone on the mercato. The only thing going for Coman as an AM were those nice passes he did last season... but thats it. We dont have enought ground to say this will happen, in fact, i even fear he will be pretty much ignored just like last season... because of our formation. Allegri´s mad passion for an AM makes me believe this.

2-Berardi is not an AM. UNless u are referring that we will suddenly drop the 4312 because of the future coming of berardi, which seems unlikely.

3-At this point, im not even sure what allegri will do with all of them. What im pretty sure... is that Coman and Pereyra will not see the light of day in our first 11. And that saddens me specially for coman.

I would actually love Coman in the AM role, kid proved he can play there during the limited chances he got last season, i say we unleash him.

@Hydde, he was used there vs Napoli and vs Parma which coincidentally were his best games for us

Nah I disagree there. Last summer was dramatic, more because of Conte's exit than the mercato itself. This summer is far more worrying in that respect, and if you're of the opinion that the season can start today, and we will do just fine, then I would say you're treading in tricky territory. This team needs a leader in the final third, and a guy people can look up to in the dressing room as a reference point, and someone who would help optimise purchases like Mandzukic and Dybala. Someone who makes Vidals sacrifice worth it. We have lost too much in Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal to think that the team is in good shape the way it is. And I for one, am definitely worried about our position currently. We have a month for the market, but anyone who thinks there's nothing to worry about if we don't end up with a half decent AM is only deluding themselves.

Ill judge by the end of the preseason but yes i have some doubts...mainly because of tevez.

Pirlo was a goner and we didnt depended on him anymore,
Vidal, whole being a big character for the team and fans...was not being the vidal of old who practically carried the team. The real mvps were morata, tevez and marchisio.

But tevez gave us too much, he gave us goals, work rate and points.
My biggest fear is that allegri could find himself in a position of not getting a treuartista worth of building our team around....and ends up having doubt on what to do.
This could be specially negative with the young guns like dybala and zaza and coman...

i think u are right

If u think about it , a trequartista can play both in Allegri's 4-3-1-2 and can also be played in a 4-3-3 (with a bit more defensive rate) , so what i am sure about is that a quality CAM will arrive whether is Draxler or not remains to be seen , i believe Beppe has what it takes to make out of this mercato a succesfull one.
