he also took some massive dumps in really important games and other players like Morata, llorente, etc had to bail us out but lets keep forgetting those games and act like Tevez was a Juventus Legend in two seasons
There is a massive difference between a "top player" and "world class"... World class is the top 3-5 players in any given position dependent on relative strength of that position in the era they play. A top player is top 10-20 player in any position and Mandzukic certainly fits that category.
And the bonehead suggesting he's not a top player cause Bayern scored a lot. Well I suppose we should discredit every top player who plays for a good team then
It's more of a credit to him that he was earning a starting XI spot and playing 43 and 48 games in his two years in that crazy good Bayern.
Anyone suggesting he isn't a top player is crazy. Every bit of evidence points otherwise. He's not a top 3-5 CF in the world, but he's well within the next 10 or so top CFs.
Suarez, Neymar, Zlatan, Aguero, Cavani, Falcao, Lewandowski, Diego Costa, Tevez, Benzema, Reus, Muller, Higuain, Van Persie, et cetera. Definitely not top 10 or 15.

You're kidding right? You list 14 players. Reus isn't a CF, never has been, never will be. Scores nowhere near the number of goals Mandzukic does. So 13 now. Van Persie is half the player Mandzukic is now. 3 years ago that's different but he scored 10 goals last year. So 12 now. Falcao was better 3 years ago too, but has scored 17 goals combined in his last two years. So 11 better now. Higuain has scored 71 goals in 146 matches which is worse than 68 in 131 by Mandzukic as far as goals to appearances. But I'd say the two are of similar quality, just outside the top 10 CFs in the game. In this spots 10-15
Easily top players. Just not world class. You really have no leg to stand on in this argument.
Aside from this, you do this every transfer window. You shit on the players we buy and freak out about those we sell and not getting enough for them and every year you are proven wrong and it's laughable. Just look at the nonsense you wrote about selling Immobile last summer and how it was a terrible mistake and we would regret it
You either need anti-depressants, or you're a giant troll.

Please name the CFs in a top 4 league that have scored more than the 68 goals of Mandzukic over the last 4 years. The list isn't very long.
OFC i meant when they are in form, dzeko sucked last season too, but season before he was the reason why Man City won the title, he scored the most vital goals in the of 13/14 campgain

Benteke, only in the EPL, where they cant organise a defence if their live would depend on it.
Falcao, has been shit for two years now
Dzeko has a VERY bad season

6 goals in over 31 games. sucked is a huge understatement
I'm not a fan of Zaza, but we need some depth in the striker department. Preferably an italian player that knows he's a bit shit, but works very hard, has very low wages, and doesnt complain when he's playing a handfull of games outside the Coppa italia.
We have loaned Anelka, bendtner, matri, to fill that gab.
Zaza is 24 and was a bargaining chip to Berardi. He'll fit that 5th striker role for the foreseeable future.

ye, pay 19 millions to ruin the youngster on the bench instead of giving him a chance to develop into better player with much bigger amount of gametime
