I agree. What others, including me, were mostly against is the club's approach on selling him. It's like we were content enough of accepting the first bid we received from Bayern, considering the fact that Vidal attracts a lot of top clubs interest, not the actual sale itself.
I can understand why people would be disappointed with the transfer fee. But I also think Marotta knows a great deal more about the market than I do, so when it comes to the actual money we received for Vidal I reserve all judgment.

It's nonsensical really. Blatant hate for Marotta is one of the misteries of this place. Fairly good lad, proved every summer to be more than capable of making important decision, and those in vast majority of cases have been beneficial for this club, its results on the pitch along with ever increasing stature. The way he trolls GMs of other clubs you simply gotta love. 7m for van Persi  , or 15m for Draxler :lol2: have been epic. Long may he live and run this club.
I think there's a difference between criticism and hate. From whatever I have seen of those talking against Marotta, you can tell that they are talking about an aspect of his approach/ability to one specific portion of his job, be it underselling or being unable to close an important player. That doesn't qualify as hate. He, just like the players he signs is not above criticism and there's nothing wrong with that. Coz I can guarantee you, most of the people criticising him would praise him when it's due.

You missed a couple of smilies here and there.

Are you really trying to put sense in the thick skull of that blind supporter? He changes opinion more often than a normal human being changes underwear only so that he proves Marotta is right. Any criticism towards his worshiping oibject is translated as hate. This is the kind of behaviour you expect from a 13 year old girl in love with Justin Beiber.

But we don't bash, we praise. :p
You don't praise.

So what you're saying basically is that we should not have an opinion about any transfer because they know best?

Except it really isn't the case. You've criticized Marotta plenty of times, but I wouldn't qualify you as his hater. Bit melodramatic, definitely :p. There's a diffence between posts where fans express genuine concern because one of our most important players was sold and those that troll in this thread. Like the guy bellow

No, not at all. But I look at the players we bring in and sell rather than the fees. Whether we could have sold Vidal for 50 instead of 40 is something I know nothing about. I do know that we lose one of our best players.
