I get the disappointment of losing someone like Vidal. I'm sad too.
But I know deep down that all will be well. Not just because I'm a Beppe fanboy, a Society soldier and because I go to the sauna sometimes to take it up the rear.
No.
Because I have witnessed us reaching a UCL final post-Calciopoli (when we were supposed to be down and out), and in the most moneycrazy era of football ever. Juve is destined for greatness. Always.
Now, undoubtedly, it also does help that we have good ol' Beppe Maximus Santangelo Trollotus at the helm. That just makes me even more secure about our future. Cause make no mistake: His track record is sublime.
We will certainly miss Vidal, but our future is bright and it will be fantastic and glorious. Yeah, there's been a lot of BIG changes this summer, but at least we don't have to worry about ending up like Milan with their "senators"; aging, becoming unmotivated, being on super high wages etc. which turned out to be a huge problem for them in the end, and effectively killed them off as our competition.
Think this was an easy move for Beppe? Beppe was the one who brought Vidal to the club. Beppe has been watching his crucial goals and performances time and time again from the stands, in wild jubilation. He also knows how much juventini love Arturo. But a Great Man sometimes has to make unpopular decisions for the greater good of the club; for our long term success.
Look at how many of his market moves have turned out to be pure gold for us. Vidal is one of them. But there are countless others.
I'm sad to lose Vidal, but there's absolutely no reason to think Marotta has lost the plot with this move. Knowing him, he's in full control. He knows what he's doing.
