There are similarities, because... both the old triade, and the current regime, made Juventus successful again after some truly mediocre seasons.

The triade were more rapid. Moggi came to the club in 1994, and by 1996 we had already lifted the Champions League. A remarkable achievement. And after that we stabilized ourselves as a top european club, reaching many CL finals. Domestically, we were also successful under them.

Beppe & co. were also rapid, but only domestically. It's taken them much more time to do well in Europe.

However, one must take into consideration that Serie-A was stronger back in the days and much more attractive for top players. Beppe & co. have therefore had the more difficult task, in my opinion. Also, they've had to deal with the fact that our brand got tarnished due to Calciopoli and relegation. They've had more obstacles than the triade.

4 scudetti, silver star, and a CL final in this current climate for Serie-A clubs, is absolutely amazing.

Agnelli, Beppe and Paratici were the best thing that could've happened to us.

But before I would deem Agnelli, Beppe and Paratici better than the triade, we'd have to win the Champions League.

Even if we don't, though... They're not far off. And just ponder that for a second. They're not far off. It speaks volumes to the amazing work that's been done at the club for the past 5 years.

The masterstroke came after winning the Champions League in 1996, out go Vialli, Ravanelli, Carrera, Vierchowod and Paulo Sousa, in come Zidane, Vieri, Boksic, Montero and Iuliano. That takes some balls to make such a move with ageing but established and winning regulars.

I know that somewhere, deep in this thread, I had mentioned this several times. The team that Moggi inherited was far from a bad team. They just had the unfortunate timing of running into one of the greatest clubs of all time in the Capello led Milan squads.

When Beppe first took over I could have never imagined he would have done this well for the club.

I remember thinking he might get fired with Del Neri but hoping he would stay on to see what he could do.

He really has done an amazing job with the transfers and being one of the key men to hire Allegri.
