Did I say we were stuck with one system? We have operated with two this year, how many teams change to a third one in the same season?
We are severely missing the link between midfield and our strikers...our final passes suck. Don't think Shaqiri wouldl have offered that as well as Sneijder would have.

Why are you acting stupid when we both know you aren't? You've been here long enough to know some members take it to the personal level when judging either a player or our coach/board, and not by whether they're doing a good job or not.
We see it happen almost every day in almost every thread. That's not just criticizing, it's just plain stupid and is childish hate.

How he didn't fit the system? He was exactly what we needed. Allegri with him could play 433 or so called 4321. Just because you repeat something many times it doesn't mean it's true. Picking Sneijder ahead of Shaqiri is far from reasonable. Luckily Sneijder is not coming and Shaqiri won't be missed so badly since we have Berardi in our hands. He could be very useful though.
We've spent staggering amounts on bench players by this current Juve's standards and the success rate is largely mediocre to poor.There desperately needs to be a rethink in strategy.
For example,bringing back Zaza next season would be stupid and we'd be making the same mistake again.
Any team that wants to make it to the top always spends the most money in attack, we have barely spent a penny on attacking players compared to other teams. When we do spend money it's on the wrong players, Tevez being the exception here he was a good investment.
Look at Inter, they are financially screwed yet they can spend more money than us in January on a quality player as well. Attack needs to take all priority in the next Summer Mercato as our attacking options really are a joke. We struggle to break down any decent team who are organised.
But arent we screwing ourselves anyway ? Expensive bench players unable to make the cut only to sell them at a loss later on.
Are we doing any different than the same amount of money spent by say, another club on first team quality ?
We arent in any less 'riskier' position right now than what we would've been if the money available was used to reinforce the first eleven.
Ironically we're left with a lot of holes to replace in the first eleven because its either existing players getting old or bench players not stepping up to the plate.

I can't say I'm unhappy with Marotta's work but there are some things he needs to work on. For example: Signing old mediocre players every winter mercato- way too many minutes wasted on old farts that coud've been invested in young talented players. Then again, perhaps those signings were necessary and maybe the coach (Conte and Allegri) is to blame for said wasted minutes.

You may be right,but Pereyra's deal is different to the one we had with Isla/Asa.(we actually bought them fully , and then made a co-own kind of a deal,that we had to buy other halves later).
But we did pick up the options on Pepe,Quag and Motta...
Hopefully if Pereyra will not improve we won't use this option this time.

imo it´s a quite questionable article, written by a questionable writer who works for a questionable site.
he got half of his numbers wrong, takes things that were probably reported by sportmediaset or tuttomerdasportsweb for granted (sanchez, 433...), and quite simply makes wrong statements for all that we know.
at first he is completely ignoring that allegri pretty much rejected shaqiri; instead he claims that marotta´s pennypinching was at fault (again). later he rows back on this
