He isn't shit. I never said that. He is a useful utility player, but one we don't need. He isn't going to displace Pogba, Vidal, or Pirlo. He isn't anywhere near that level. Heck, he isn't even as good as Marchisio. We are giving them our joker for a 5th choice CM (for us at least).

Selling Pogba :howler:

Guarin is so over-rated in these parts. We are giving Inter a quality striker (our most productive and important striker over the past two seasons) who happened to be a major contributor in our past two Scudetti victories. Why couldn't we just give them that sorry sack of S^%& called Giovinco?!

Guarin for Vucinic is definitely a trade that favors Inter. They get a quality striker, and we get a CM we don;t even fucking need. Good job Marotta. The only way this deal makes any sense is if Guarin is actually going to be fucked off somewhere else (EPL for Lamela or Mata perhaps). Otherwise, the trade makes zero sense in my book. Moreover, if this trade in someway signifies that Pogba is gone by the summer, then fuck it.
#1) Selling Pogba is a theory. It may not be one that you want to deal with, but it could be a very real possibility.

#2) Vucinic is the 5th choice striker on this team. His chances of getting playing time are virtually none. Guarin on the other hand, will have more of an opportunity for playing time, to keep the midfield fresh, since, well, Juve is a team that is driven by its midfield.

I think you're underrating Guarin here.

even if you're right, we could sell mirko only for about 11-12 or swap with guarin and then sell him for like 15m+

either way we're getting the better deal

How the $#@! does he go from being hated by that awful first season to becoming the awe of not only the Italian clubs but respected in all over Europe as well? Man, that man has gone a long way from when he hired Del Neri and signed Motta, Martinez and Pazienza to toying with other teams and turning everything into gold.
As he gradually improved the team's situation, he had access to better and better options in terms of coaches and players. That's why the early founders of The Society preached patience because we knew that it would take time to dig us out of such a terrible situation.

Also, Vucinic for Guarin is an investment swap more than a footballing one IMO.

27 year old CM with interest from EPL teams > 30 year old striker.

I love Mirko but he's an asset that will depreciate very quickly. Guarin is worth more money than him IMO.

He's not. Him being behind in the pecking order is more to a due of his probable sale.

Let me assume :chin:, but no he'd be before him if mgt weren't seriously thinking of selling him. No point in giving minutes to a player who's most likely to leave.

While there were strong rumors of Quag leaving this summer, Conte didn't even want to invite him for meaningless friendlies. Same here, until situation resolves Vucinic will be out.

That is your opinion, and I humbly disagree. I rate Vucinic, and I see no reason as to why we need Guarin. Pointless trade.
The problem with ur theory is that u are ignoring something bery important: Vucinic has no real value for us anymore in the playing fields. He is our 5th choice striker and that is what Conte thinks. he is done for.

Better to get something for him now than never.

because football projects take time and patience. something that peasants, especially the internet generation of instant gratification peasants don't understand.
