Ignorance ?

You are posting some stuff from a freshmen point of view, while Jay and zebra were providing actual financial analysis

i wonder who i should listen to
While I don't know what you posted and such, It really annoys me how much people look down upon people on this forum. For fuck sake, you're on the internet and we are all JUVENTUS fans. Why should one person be fucking subjected because of their viewpoint. So what if you know more about the transfer market or live in Turin and have the "inside scoop" on the next transfer, that doesn't make you a better person for knowing this. You can't shit on people just because they said something you disagree with.

Fuck, I know this is a rant but it really pisses me off when someone new to this forum can't get a word in without being ignored by you guys who have been apart of this forum for 10 plus years....cool? good for you. I just found out about this forum in 2011 but I fell in love with Juve around 2008 when I started watching soccer. Some people really think they are the shit on this site and its really funny and pathetic. Cool you don't know the finances behind the juventus transfer market... damn you ignorant.

I know you're post has really nothing to do with anything Im saying and sorry to hijack it but fuck some people on this forum. We are all juve fans so why can't you guys respect that. Everyones opinions are the different so respect that. I don't really know where I am going right now with this post but fuck some people on this forum and not welcoming new members and such. Stop shooting down people for posts when they are honestly trying to contribute to the conversation. Congrats you have been a member of an online forum for a few years, try putting that on your resume.

Never underestimate people with computers :D
Fair enough.

But I've seen it before in fact downloaded it last year and it only concerns board of directors appointments. Doesn't have to be connected with Marotta as GM of Juventus. He can still stay and be involved in other things as most people on list. He is listed as independent director and that could mean anything.

It's extremely unlikely that he'll be CEO and not in his current role. Also, if you consider there has been no talk (outside this forum) about his contract length or an extension, that he is currently in the middle of transfer negotiations on the 22nd June (his 2013 contract is supposed to expire the 30th), then it adds up him continuing as normal.

My postcount means nothing. Most people have higher counts then mine or are here longer. For all i care they could remove postcount cause i dont care about it.
I understand your point, its a good point that i'd normally agree with, but let me give you an idea of the situation :

We came from far, and are in a good position. I'm a juventus fan and praise the people who made this happen. Yet you have people, who dont understand finances , but dont look up their info very well. They only look at small things. "that striker". forgetting anyone else. And then go in very hard on marotta, demanding him to resign.

That is idiotic. Every manager has its flaws, but marotta did a stellar job at juventus. SO if uneducated, uninformed people come in and have an easy bashing at marotta, there is the need of a guy like me who puts those peasants in their place and tells them to get the fuck out of this thread untill they have properly informed themselves.
I just fucking hate it when an uninformed fool comes all bashing, not realises how bad he looks to educated or informed people.

p.s. i'm moderately educated with finances. But i look up stuff to get informed. That takes alot more efford then "oh no top striker omg fire him"

I've seen that info on VS few weeks ago and it's been mentioned in Italian press recently. Can't be bothered to provide links atm. You can probably find it. But yes it would seem strange to release him from current position only to leave him at BoD.

Why the hell would we fire the architect of our very succesfull revamp anyway ? Cause the top player ? Well allow him the funds perhaos. Agnelli/Elkann thinking someone else can negotiate better ? They'd hire both, move beppe to be CEO only, and make the other DoS.

But that wont happen cause beppe is excellent at it

The irony is that i dislike people who actually use the postcount or active forum years as an argument.

Still might do yet, we can't be 100% sure of that. Marotta has done a good job, but we've changed people around quite often in recent years. Not that it would be in the middle of the transfer window.

I think it's more to do with the aggression in replies. We can all be guilty of that, and it looks intimidating to new members to get involved in the discussion.

Obviously if people have such polar views it can get like that, but ideally people wouldn't be shouted down. The other side is that you can't really expect to post on any forum or social networking site and not have your opinions challenged.

I completely understand. If someone comes in here and completely bashes the fuck out of marotta and doesn't have the knowledge to back it up, then you're right, fuck them and they should be told so. But I have seen multiple times on this furum where people are just bashed for no reason and it really annoys me.

You get use to it after a while. Just post smileys on that.

Marotta is part of that board, so he surely deserves praise. Obviously saying it is all down to him is nonsense, as is what you said about Agnelli.
As I said whatever, I don't disagree... it's just semantics, you should be in agreement because I think Marotta gets too much undeserved credit for things like our turn around in finances by giving all the praise to one person.

Derp indeed, because that's not what I said. I marked the ones undeniably bad, that offered little or next to no value in purchasing them.

I did make a mistake though, I should have excluded Krasic considering his first season. The trend is that generally most of Marotta's bad signings are low risk ones, often players not expected to be more than squad or back up players.

Iaquinta, Lanzafame? (wtf) Borriello? Matri but not Quagliarella? Exactly what I mean....you could make a case for €150m of players doing that.
We can still debate that other signings were bad too, like Matri was a bad signing for 18m imo. Even if it was 'only' 50-60m wasted as you said, that's still a massive amount of money for transfers that were useless and around a quarter of what he has spent so far, I'm pretty sure it's more though... at least 80m.

You seem to have avoided my question.

As for your question, I don't even know where you get that from. Just putting words in my mouth. In fact there seems to be a lot of this, where people are making statements in response to views that don't even exist.

Even the most biased backers of our board or Marotta are not going to suggest that.
Seemed like a loaded question to me, and I did answer the question anyway, next lines down.

Really? Check the poster of the quote below.

Yes, ACTUAL financial analysis. You don't even know what an actual financial analysis is, where are ratios on return on equity, debt to equity etc? Where is share price overview, analysis of balance sheets etc? Even if there is some fact from other websites, Juventus itself etc, we are mostly discussing the opinion side and not disputing objective things. You are the only one claiming things like Marotta is amazing as fact, as I'm pretty sure everyone else knows it is just their opinions being shared. And you think because you read one thread on finances you are automatically a financial genius and anyone that holds different views to things not even regarding that stuff is an idiot. I've already told you 500 times, stop acting like such a know-it-all. All you do is regurgitate your opinion as fact and somehow in your little ignorant mind you think everything you say is objective because you are not being critical and because 'Marotta won 2 scudetti'. I've really had enough of listening to this from you, while the rest of us have a civilised conversation. All you ever do is talk down to people because you think what you say is fact.
