all I'm saying is that when a top English club or an 'oil' club come along we won't have a chance of getting our target
no Marotta , Conte or even Moggi is going to change that

Then don't go after the RvP's and Aguero's of the world. Better to end up with the next El Sharawaay than Bendtner. Why not Jackson Martinez instead of wasting time on oil club targets like Higuain?
Sorry bro, too many people in denial about that and a lot other issues the "Great Man" has. I always come across as someone who criticizes him, and despite that I have faith that he will get it right this time. But if you talk to any one of them, the only ing you'll hear is that he can't be faulted and if we have to pay 30m for Higuain them it's not his problem, because we are a poor club in a poor league and nobody here has ever claimed we want to win the CL. And how dare we ever think that we could exceed a 4.5m wage cap, because this Juve is ahead of its time thanks to Beppe.
All living in one big fucking bubble that's full of wasted semen.

May be so, but at least he falls within a negotiable bracket with less competition from the oil clubs which is going to be our excuse for the next decade.
He didn't. And if he did, it was created by him selling important players and replacing them, thanks to his eye for talent and marketing acumen. Galliani still represents some of the Moggi era, and I could see Moggi do just fine even with the oil clubs around, had he been with the club through its transition.
He had a more complete squad.. He could focus on a single addition or two. And yes he must have had a little over 40m € when he signed Buffon for 40m € back in 2001, don't you think?

I thought the money from selling Zidane was used in the Nedved deal? Nedved+Buffon=80m €....
Sorry, this is before my time as a juventini so im no expert on the topic. What I do know is that today oil clubs are inflating the market, so players go for much higher fees then they would do 10 years ago. Gigi went for 40m € in 2001, yes, but apart from the absolute world class players I believe it's safe to say the market was a lot "cheaper" or so back in the Moggi era..

Nedved, Buffon, Thuram, Zenoni. We completely overhauled squad with sales of Zizou and Inzaghi. Zidane was sold for 75M, Inzaghi 20M or something like that. As much as I liked Zizou his sale was logical thing. In his last year he was unmotivated and played rather badly. And probably cost us second round (another group stages) of the CL.
And yes market was a lot cheaper. We managed to bring WC player like Viera for 20M.
there was a supposedly reliable source on twitter claiming that arsenal will pay 25 mill no installments, however last friday my arsenal mate at work was almost sure he was going to Juve also from a 'reliable' twitter source, so right now i don't even know what to believe, every day and week seems to be a change in flavour
