Dont be foolish, players beeing payed secco wages couldnt be sold by moggi with electrodes tied to his balls.
Yeah what he did with Trezeguet was all about wages. He handled it splendidly too. Also, Melo was being paid ~2 million a year AND has been relatively in form for 2 seasons now yet still, Marotta fails.

What he did with Alex is also a huge facepalm, and the list goes on..

The list goes on with an unbeaten scudetto, a supercoppa, another scudetto comming, quarterfinals reached against future winners bayeren munchen, and going over break even next year.

feel free to complain about him cutting down age and wages in his first year, as the board demanded. you prove his point even more

Oh come on, Ale leaving was not Marotta's decision.
Leave him, he is mad at the amount of justified praise marotta is getting

You should only fire Morotta if the next guy with bring you to the next level. Otherwise there's no point.
We can only know after this summer if marotta is the guy for the next phase of juventus. the premium quality asset/season+youngsters phase

So i'm pretty certain he'll get extended, and if he fails this and next summer, they just terminate the contract, but i'm sure he'll manage just fine

Of course he should stay, there is no way you can justify not renewing someone who brought you 2 scudettos in 3 years. But I don't want to lose Paratici so I hope we can promote Marotta and that way give Paratici a bigger role.

Yeah, I was disappointed he let Manninger go.

So you're more than willing to credit him with the achievements of these two seasons yet deny him the criticism of his first season? Come on. And since you claimed he handled all the shit Secco threw his way, how exactly do you rate the way he handled his own Krasic and Martinez offload? Or was that also a Secco fault and he only did what the management asked him to. Or wait, maybe it wasn't his fault, like Alex.

Look, I didn't say he shouldn't stay. It would be stupid to do that now. Im just saying, he has his shortcomings, and boy are they costly.

People that use wrong arguments, are funny like a sad flower

del piero was denied a contract by agnelli, not marotta
first season, he cut wage and age. he coach failed hard, so they cut the coach and got conte, who put stuff straight
krasic and martinez had bad market value after their flops.

Dont be one of the guys thinking a flopped player is worth anything near his original value on the transfermarket.

You are beeing completely unrealisting, wrong, and the football manager reload option is strong in you

Didn't realize you were a fanboy. Would have avoided this argument a long time ago otherwise. Move on then, enjoy your precious Marotta.

I'm glad you realise you are wrong, and take the "oh you are a fanboy i'm out" argument to cover up your escape.

Good luck on the way home and shut the door behind you, while i enticipate this soon to be second consecutive scudetto

With consecutive Scudetti and the CL QF, especially after what we've been up against this year with Conte's suspension, etc., this should be an easy decision for the powers that be.

He's definitely going to be renewed, IMO, and hopefully it's a 2 year deal. That way he's gets another full season to demonstrate that we're heading in the right direction (and hopefully prove that he can land an important, established player), and then if things don't work out, the club can just fire him and he'll get a bit of severance (a little golden parachute for services rendered; he has played a big role in us returning to the top of Italy - it's difficult to deny).

Continuity is important for our club right now.

"Sabatini and Corvino"

Face it sluts, he's the best at what he does in Italy.
I don't want his contract renewed, but that is because I have never liked him, and never will. Kinda the same vibe/feeling I have with the likes of Giac, Padoin, and to a lesser extent Peluso. That is the subjective reason.

As for the objective part, I simply feel he has reached his limits. He is good at assembling/building a squad a la Ranieri, but doesn't have that extra bit, the X-factor to bring it/take it to the next level as a DS. Remember, he has never worked at a big club before, and expectations @ Juventus are only going to get higher henceforth.

As for being the best in Italy, I'd say Galliani is still more shrewd and experienced than him. Moreover, we are dominating Italy, and it shouldn't be hard to do so given our resources compared to other clubs. The next step is to make an even stronger impression in Europe, a lasting impression, not just a fleeting presence, and for that, I feel we need someone else other than Marotta.
