Dude stop derailing the thread by acting childish. Last night was the proof that we need quality upfront (what everyone was saying from the start but this one eyed beggar always dodged from it) or we're gonna get humiliated like this every year. Cronios or no Cronios, you can't deny that it was partly Marotta's fault. If he is to get credit for our success', then he surely has got to be blamed for our shortcomings/failures too.
And please don't give me that crap about we don't have resources, cuz if we wanna compete at this level we better spend (like any other team with ambition).
Robben and Ribbery were raping us in broad daylight, we didn't have that kind of players (or rather Marotta doesn't believe in that kind of luxury) and we looked toothless and stupid upfront.

It's not about the money being spent. It is the allocation of where it is likely to be spent. If Peluso was needed, then why wasn't he bought in the summer mercato?

Because he wasn't needed then. You can't have forgotten the context already. Chiellini was ruled out for several weeks, and Asamoah was playing AFCON...

Asamoah was almost certainly bought as a CM initially. Isla was bought as the RWB alternative to Lichtsteiner. Circumstances change, but signing a top striker doesn't. We still need more quality in that area, and it is still the hardest transfer to make for a club with financial restrictions. I'm really not going to go into the 1+1+1 = 1 argument again.

It's repetitive and it's been said as nauseum every time we lose. We know the teams capabilities and the teams weaknesses, coming in here and repeating the same lame and factully wrong stuff won't change anything.

Even if we had Ronaldo and Batitstuta in their prime we would have struggled last night, it goes beyond individual player performances.

Last night was a collective failure, that kind of player cannot prevent that, but he can make the difference between elimination or going through. An away goal by a top player's quality/momentary magic, would've changed the whole perspective of the return game, as horrid as we looked last night.

But hey as Bianconero_Aus said this sh!t has been stirred long enough here, so let's just save ourselves from the extra headache
