If we didn't have Peluso in January we wouldn't have been able to put 11 players of some quality on the pitch for long stretches.
we can always do what we do best, use someone out of position.
Besides, isnt Marotta's fault that we have 11 CMs and just one injury prone LB?
And this has been the case since the day he joined us!
The best thing he was able to do was buy yet another CM (Asamoah) for that spot...this was entirely upon Marotta's shoulders, as was loaning out both Masi and Sorensen and leave us without CB depth, so we were forced to use yet another CM there...

These were all strategical mistakes which could be easily avoided in the summer and were wisely brought into discussion by the the Marotta critics.

I think people forget that less than 2 years ago this club was in 7th place with no hope at all for the future. In 2 years time we as fans will see this team win it's second consecutive scudetto and make it to the quarterfinals of the Champions League. With the potential for an influx of young talent coming through the pipeline.

Now, I know that I am older than 95% of the people on this forum, but how is it that I have more patience than a lot of you that are probably half my age? You guys have plenty of time, just relax. I, on the other hand, have more sand on the bottom of the hourglass than the top.

Don't people in general have less patience these days compared to 15 years ago? I can't shake the feeling that they want everything & they want it right now, not in 6 months, let alone a year from now.

Add to that that football fans aren't exactly known for their intelligence (I know I'm exaggerating, but still) or objectivity but rather for their emotional & often irrational thinking. For every dozen opinions or criticisms, you'd be lucky to find one that can actually be backed up & justified to an outsider.

That is most certainly true. I don't remember ever being as impatient as a lot of people that I see. Could be me just getting old, or the fact that other sports teams that I support haven't won a championship in 20+ years.

The more access to information you have, the less your general tolerance for incompetence.

15 years ago, we would have little idea of alternative in different leagues to whatever players we bought.

Now every dickhead with football manager/ the internet can say X player from fucking Partizanwanktown is the next Baggio.

That's what my old man says about football back in the 70s and 80s. You'd talk about the previous game all week, then go to the next game and just think about the match. Now there is complete media coverage and everyone is a journalist, scout and coach.

Marotta's choice of bringing quantity over quality, has set a cap in our chances in Europe.
This is far as we can go, because Marotta has failed to upgrade the quality of our team, this is a certainty!
It was very clear by the start of the season.

What some may debate is if we would better, for the championship, to have Llorente now, instead of Isla, Peluso, Bendtner and Padoin.
Sacrifice some of our depth to increase our scoring ratio, would bring less, more or the same points, as we have now?
We dont really know, but we what we know for sure is that a 2-1 with Bayern, would give us more chances...

so all of this is marotta's fault, and not the fact that oh i don't bayern is an amazing team? they were CL finalists last year, and in 2010 you know.

besides your theory is wrong. by your logic moggi's teams in 2004 and 2005 were only quarter final cap max as well. even though that suad's wages >>>>>>>>>>this squad
