People should consider a few things about italians complaining about fixtures.
1) English players tend to be build more athletic, and are less technical in general, they got better natural conditions where italians, especially the creative players, are thinner artists. They lack that condition.
2) English teams dont really got a problem with wages. They have much larger squads, with more dept. As shown in the europaleague, when an italian team try's to rotate, they generally get shafted. If they play their full team in europe, they get shafted in the serie a. Napoli this and last season is a good example of both.
3) The players that can handle multiple fixtures better in serie a teams, tend to be the very physical defensive italians, or foreign players. Our defence, asamoah, licht dont really bother about fixtures. others do.
The effect of dept is very clear in our midfield. Who was the best midfielder from us against roma ? Pogba. Despite his massive potential he's currently below the MVP's level, but he was rested and clearly better. That is dept right there.
4) What is said about english players, can also be said about germans. Spanish teams on the other hand, play a much less physically demanding football, and also tend to have more dept then us.
5) Last season, despite a less talented team as currently, this problem rarely occurred. Yeah, we were in just 1 competition.
6) The FIGC should promote the teams that bring italy forward in europe. It increases serie a's profile, wich translate into more income, and better player development due to higher quality teammates.
So yeah, they should pretty much protect the teams that play in europe, and be alot more lenient to those teams asking to move a game to a later or earlyer date.
7) And lastly, all 3 competitions above us, do exactly that. moving games to monday and fryday happen all the time in la liga, bundesliga and epl.
Conte and marotta have full right to complain the lack of backing, especially compared to the 3 league's above us.

Unless you were speaking in terms of just players in the leagues in general, in which case forget I said this
